So much dirt...

Igor sighed, looking purely unhappy as he strolled leisurely through the trees. What am I even doing in the forest? Dirt. Gross. What if I trip amd get dirt all over me? That would be gross and terrible and all kinds of bad! He asked himself, looking around as he started to notice so many things he could get his foot caught on, thus causin him to fall. Into the dirt. But, afer a few minutes of worrying and slightly panicking, he realized how nice the nature was. Well... The only dirt I have on me is on my shoes... The birds are nice... Um... Flowers. Igor stopped ubruptly, bending down to examine a nice little patch of colorful flowers. Flowers are good. A lot better than dirt.

I run around looking at every tree I see. " Arrow where are you? " I ask even knowing that the arrow is an inanimate object and cant talk. I run around getting my feet all dirty from when I was at the beach earlier, and I wouldnt care the slightest bit. I glare over at a tree beside me to find the arrow stuck in there. " How, the heck, did I get it stuck in a tree?! I didnt even pull the string back the far... " I walk over beside it and attempt to pull it out but fail. " Why am I so weak? " I mutter to my self as I continue to pull. I then fall over in the dirt, as soon as I put my hair behind my ear so I could see what was happening. " Dirt, I hate you. " I quickly attempt to get up as I fall back down. I think I have the worst luck on the planet. I look at the tree. " Arrow, I hate you to. "

Igor straightened himself out as he heard someone else in the wood, swallowing nervouls, his eyes wide in worry. There are tons of people in this camp... There's nothing to be afraid of... He reassured himself, nodding slightly. As he heard the other being come closer, he quickly hid behind a tree, not even noticing the arrow in it's bark. Igor held back a scream as the other came up to the tree, hurrying to change side so he wouldn't be seen. He jumped slightly at the thud that came from the person, not knowing it was only them falling. But, at the dirt comment, Igor decided that the other couldn't be that bad. "You don't like dirt either then? I mean, it gets all over your clothes, and it could ruin them. Which wouldn't be good for first impressions and things like that. Oh, I'm sorry, My name is Igor. Who are you?"

I finally get the strength to actully be able to pull myself up. " Uh, Hiya. The name is Tobias by the way, pleased to meet you Igor. " I say smiling. " So what are you doing here? I attempted to shoot an arrow and it got in this freaking tree and I am what people at my school call A weak tree branch. So I am not having much luck in getting it out anyway..." I look up at him and then look at my feet that have been sunken down in the mud. " I dont have that much luck period, I think the gods hate me or something... " I trail off. " Ignore me, I sometimes ramble on about things. " I grab the arrow again and fail once again after a few failures. " I also tend to fail at alot of things. So who is your god parent? " I ask finally giving up on the stupid arrow.

"Well, I basically cooped myself up in my cabin for quite some time... I was starting to be bothered, and so I finally came outside. The flowers are nice at least." Igor muttered, shrugging. "With how pale and feminine I am, people find it hard to believe that I'm Australian and male. But you can't fake an accent like this." He joked, smiling slightly. "That arrow thing is unfortunate. But don't worry about those kids. I was picked on too. And the names weren't nice at all. I don't even want to repeat them. I was also hit on. Barely anybody could distinguish that I'm a guy." He said with a small chuckle at the memories of the "meat-heads" that always thought he was a pretty blonde girl and would refuse to believe that Igor wasn't. He then made a disgusted face at the mud. "Ew, mud. One of the only things worse than dirt." Igor complained, taking a step away. "I'd say. Mud is absolutely nasty. But I'm sure they don't hate you... They just... um... you're just not their favorite." He tried to console, offering a rather sheepish smile. But he soon frowned upon watching the boy. "My god parent? Aphrodite, if you couldn't already tell." Igor said rather narssisticly, though his tone wasn't intended, grinning once again.

" Yah the flowers are better than the mud, " I sigh leaning up against the tree. " My god parent lis Loki. " I say try not to make eye contact. I go back to trying to pull the arrow out. " Hum, maybe if I hit the arrow with another arrow, maybe it will come out. Hum lets see... " I nock an arrow and take a few steps back. I then take a few pulls at the string before I can finally pull it back all the way. I let go only to see another arrow in a tree. " Come on! Really?! " I start banging my head against the tree hoping that something about that would fix my promblem, which now in a million years would. " Wanna go walk in the forest searching for complete danger that could totally kill us? " I ask having a smile on my face covered by my hand. And I am a horrible liar too.

Igor nodded. "Flowers can make great accents to plenty of outfits. Mud, however, can't." He commented, nodding. He stood cautiously, not wanting to get mud on him. "Um... I don't... I don't... I don't that'll work... It just doesn't seem very likely to work..." Igor said, though he was extremely quiet. He sighed anf watched with a frown as Tobias tried and failed to get the arrow out by using another arrow. "I'm sorry I can't help with the arrow. I'm built for modelling not getting things out of trees." Igor apologized before flinching as he started to bang his head against the tree. "Hey, hey don't do that!" He exclaimed, quickly pulling
the other demi-god away from the tree. "Danger? Well, danger... that's okay. But, the risk of tripping and getting myself dirty is just too much. So, I'm going to have to decline. I'd rather talk. Besides, something you said in that sentence isn't true. I don't really want to find out what it is." Igor said politely, shrugging. "Also, for a child of Loki, you're a terrible liar."

" Yah, tell me about it. " I muttered. " Ok then, I am going to see if I can find anything up in the trees. Like I dont know treasure or something, " I grasp on to one of the branches and I start to make my way up the tree. When I get to a steady branch, I sit down and start to swing my feet in the air. " Come on up here! The view is wonderful, abosoluty fantastic! " I yell down at him starting to hang upside down seeing how long I would go before I fall maybe to my death or something. For once my hair was finally out of my eyes as I could see everything. " Ok now that I can actually see, it looks much more awesome. Pleeeeaaase come up. Come on it will be fun! " I look at him again smiling at having fun and fooling around. I just I hope I dont fall...

Bic: Lauren walked in, her blue eyes shining and blonde hair flowing in the breeze. "Hello?" Lauren knew nobody would answer but, she was always curious to see if some lunatic would be lurking in the dark forest. Lauren kicked at the dirt with her black combat boots. It was quite chilly outside with the breeze and mist. Lauren was wearing her brand new leather jacket with a white v neck tee shirt and black jeans. Her soft blonde hair was curled and flowed down to the top o her waist. She looked flawless, as usual. Most boys mistakes her for an Aphrodite but, she told them off afterwards.

I go back to swinging as I see a girl walk by. " Hiya, " I say shyly as I grasp onto the bark to set me up right. " What are you doing? " I ask curious tone in my voice. " Hey Igor! I found a girl instead of treasure! Does that count? " I shouted at him smirking wildly. Heh why did I do that? I have no idea...maybe I could play match maker with those two. Heh, who cares if I annoy them to death, it will be fun! I climb down the tree and look at them, then shaking the hair out of my eyes to see them better. " Igor ask her out on a date or something! " I say quickly. " I really need to get my hair cut... " I muttered to myself as it got in my eyes again. I finally sighed as I leaned up against the tree I climbed earlier. " Do you want to do something? or are we just going to hang around here till we are dead? because, we could go do, " I thought about it for a moment. " Uh anything but being board and doing what ever the heck we are doing. " I now couldnt tell if I was being serious, or messing around with trying to get them together, maybe I can get them to go on adventure together. Eh, I dont know, I just probably have to wait and see how it turns out. Not caring? or meddling in there life? Meddling it is.

Lauren felt her brain start to hurt when the boy started to ask question after question. "First off hi...and I was walking around, didn't know I would find actual people this deep into the forest." Lauren shook her head. "Anywho I'm Lauren daughter of Athena. You know Godess of wisdom and such." Lauren placed her hands on her curves hips and smiled. "Lastly a date?" Lauren sighed expecting some boy to pop out at her and try to hook his friend up. A mile back right before the forest two Ares boys were trying to capture her. Something about his friend being lonely and such, she personally just thought that the two bulky boys were blood thirsty.

I walk up to the girl smiling. " I am Tobias, son of some god who I really dont want to talk about right now. " I then go back to struggling to get my arrows from the tree, because I was to much of a " weakling of a stick " to get it out with just a pull or any strategy I have tryed eariler to get it out. I could have gotten a sword, or a spear but no! I got the bow and arrows! I glance at the two arrows. " I hate you two, you know that? " Why am I talking to inanimate objects again? I think I have issues or something. I go back up in the tree observing those two from a far. I layed back on a branch and sat down leaning against the trunk. I then start to hum the Kingdom Dance song that was the latest song stuck in the radio of my head. I think it sounds nice. Does everyone thing I am just a frail little boy? Or do some people think more? Darn you questions, I hate you almost as much as my arrows stuck in those trees. I grab a twig and a rubber band from my pocket and try to make a sling shot to use if I needed it. I then took out a bag of marbles are rocks from up my sleave. " So uh I am the kid of um uh Hermes? " My voice cracked, darn my stupid lieing problems, I should be able to lie real easily. I go back to humming Kingdom Dance as I tap my foot on the steady branch that kept me from falling to my death. I drop the bag. " Ohhhhh snap. "

Igor looked up at the boy in the tree. "Be careful! And I'm not going up there. First off, I don't want to get dirty, secondly, I don't want to rip my clothes. And thirdly, if you fall... I have to try to catch you." He called, sighing as he leaned against the tree. He raised an eyebrow as he spotted a girl, but stayed silent. He sighed and brought his palm to his face as Tobias started firing questions at her. Igor slid his palm from his face, revealing a smile. He was smiling simply at the fact that the Son of Loki asked him to ask the girl, who had learned was named Lauren, on a date. "A date? I guess I didn't tell you then... It's not important, I suppose. But, Lauren, you don't have to worry about me asking you out. By the way, you do have an excellent fashion sense. Black and white is always good. I suppose it's not exactly original... A bit over-used... But still good." Igor said, smiling lightly. "Anyway! I'm Igor, child of Aphrodite." He added, looking up in the tree to assure himself that Tobias hadn't started to do anything stupid. He had noticed that the kid had a knack for that. He sighed at the attempt to lie, but didn't say anything. "Don't tap your foot! The branch might crack!" Igor warned as he continued to look up, standing at the ready in case the boy had even more bad luck. Falling out of trees, after all, was not good.

Lauren raised an eyebrow at the two boys. "What exactly are you two doing out here?" She pushed her hip out and put a hand on it. "Looks mighty dangerous." She then heard the others boy comment about her clothing choice. "Oh thanks." Lauren flashed the boy one of her gorgeous smiles. "Anyways do you need help up there?" Lauren was never afraid to get down and dirty. If you needed help with something she was the girl to ask...nobody else would do it as good as Lauren. "Your probably going to break something." She knew that wasn't the most supportive thing to say but, hey it was true that branch was not stable at all. If he was lucky the branch could barely hold his weight.

I totally ignored Igor's comments and continued to tap my foot and hum. " Well, I was at the beach, in a tree, practiced archery and then some how the arrow got into this tree. " I pointed. " So I tried to get it out, failed misribly, tryed to see of I could shoot another arrow with it so it could come out. Then that arrow got stuck in that tree. " I pointed to the other tree. " And I have been basicly been dieing to do something ever since, well about 5 minutes ago, and I guess we are just chilling while Igor tells me what to do. Oh and yes, I do realize I am probaby going to break something, I tend to be able to break alot of things, because hey thats why I have been in pretty much in a bakery my whole life. " I start to tap my foot again even louder than before just so I could annoy them, because in my world, annoying people is fun! I then climb the tree higher so I could get a better view of well everything. " Do you guys want to come here? Or sit down there like rocks? " I ask smirking. I took out my slingshot, that had now been broken by how many times I had tappd my foot, I must have stepped on it or something... Oh well I guess I am going to stick to archery. " Well, come on slow pokes! " I yell playfully, I probaby couldnt win in a fight, but I guess I could just run away or something like that. " This song is going to be stuck in my head forever. And no Igor, I am not going to fall, I will be extra careful. " Putting ephasis on Extra seemed to be the right thing to do, he should stop worring about things and start having fun, and getting dirty. Oh well knowing him for like the past 10 minutes, seemes that day will never come. I deside to lay back on the branch and hear a slight creak in the wood. I let out a short laugh that kinda disappeared as it went on. " Heheh, guys? Remember when I said that everything was going to be alright? Yah I was wrong, I am probably going to die. But on the bright side I can see a really awesome view from up here! " I start to step backwards as I attempt to get as far away from the branch I was on as possible. I start talking to myself as I climb higher up. " Ok not gonna die, not gonna die... " I then slide down the tree and smiled shyly. " S-s-s-so, uh, yah, um, as you can s-s-see, I am not dead. But, uh I am uh, gonna be fine, yah perfectly fine, absolutely fine. " I shook my head and looked up at them. " Look, I am sorry, I should have listened, and I have issues, ok? I could have gotten hurt bla bla bla whatever. "

Igor bit his lip worriedly as he continued to look up at Tobias. "For the last time, I'm not going up there! Like I said, if you fall, I'm going to try and catch you! And please stop tapping your dang foot!" He snapped, not mad, but only worried for the kid. He had only really known him for about 12 minutes, but children had always been a soft-spot for Igor. He scowled as the boy put emphasis on extra. That didn't exactly work with him, as he continued to be concerned for the son of Loki. Igor's eyes widened at the creaking of the wood, knowing that Tobias should have been more careful. "Oi! I TOLD YOU TO BE MORE CAREFUL! WHY DIDN'T YOU LISTEN?" He yelled, a bit angry at the disobedience of the boy. "Now, please try to save yourself and if you can't, I"ll catch you! I promise!" Igor called, slightly panicking. He quickly moved to where he could catch Tobias, if he managed to fall, hoping desperately that he wouldn't. He knew he had gotten slightly attached to the 12 year old. The things that could happen in half a half of an hour. He sighed as he watched as Tobias, thankfully, didn't fall, but he was still slightly mad that he didn't listen. Igor gave a disapproving look to Tobias as he slid down the tree, crossing his arms. "What were you doing?! You could have gotten yourself killed!" He said before embracing the small boy in a hug. "But, you were lucky enough to have survived, thank the Gods." Igor said with a sigh as he ran his fingers through his long, blond hair. Tobias had honestly and thoroughly scared him. "Now, you better listen to me next time, understand?" The son of Aphrodite said sternly and seriously, his arms crossed again as he stared down at Tobias.

Lauren laughed and leaned against the tree. "You two are funny..." She giggle and watched as the bigger boy embraced the smaller kid for not dying up in the tree. "So do you two know each other?" She put her hands on her hips and chewed her gum as she talked. "Cause if not you are really affectionate for just meeting." She kicked a pebble that was by her foot waiting for a answer.

"Him almost dying is not funny!" Igor snapped, turning slightly to look at Lauren. He then turned his gaze back to Tobias. "Not exactly, we just met." He answered, blushing lightly as he was a bit embarrassed by what he had just done. He hadn't even realized that he had hugged the smaller boy. He sighed. "Well, I'm sorry that I'm concerned for a 12 year old's safety." Igor snapped again, rather thin arms crossed tightly on his chest. "Look, I just worry somewhat too much, and because he is that young only makes me even more concerned for his safety." He said quietly with a dismissive tone, signaling that he wished her questions to be asked no longer, as he found he didn't want to answer them.

And I was trying to be careful, I guess it just didnt work out that way....oh well, and I probably was not going to die, just probably with a few broken limbs or brused up or something like that. " I rolled my eyes and looked up at him. " Thank you for being Mr. Overprotective Igor. and Igor? Why were you hugging me? " I ask playfuly as I start to swing on a tree limb to the ground. " See I am not going to kill myself this close to the ground, and look its over atlittle patch of grass and some dandilions to so I wont get dirty or something. " Like I havent gotten dirty durring this past experience. Learning not to get dirty is not really something I can`t do. " Hey guys do you want some cookies later or something? I promise I didnt poison them or anything. " I really didnt poison them, well not that I know of that is. I then moaned slightly. " I am sooo board! Can we please do something fun! Because if we dont, I am probably going to go climb anoter tree in a sign of bordom and that means I will fall and hurt myself, so. Can. We. Pleeeeaaaaaase do something?! "

"No! You most certainly can not do that again! What were you thinking even doing that in the first place? I cannot stress how dangerous that scenario was." Igor said sternly, scowling deeply. "Well, what else was I supposed to do? Just stand there not caring if you fell and ended up dying? No! I'll be overprotective because I don't want you dying! Death is terrible!" He snapped, sighing heavily as he attempted to calm down, rubbing his temple. "Stress is bad for your looks... Stress is bad for your looks..." Igor whispered to himself as he sighed again. "And I hugged you because I was glad you were alright, okay?" He said in a much calmer voice, having successfully calmed down. "Cookies? Um... I'll pass. I'm not much of a cookie person. I'm also not hungry. But I suppose we can do something fun... Safe, but fun. Anything dangerous is out of the question. I don't want you hurting yourself." Igor said, using a stern voice once more, though he smiled slightly. "It also has to be somewhat quick... I've got to get going soon." He added, glancing into the woods quickly before focusing his gaze back on the boy in front of him.

Lets go, come on slow-poke! " My laughter trailes behind me as I run twords a dark area of the woods. " Catch me if you can! Just have fun! " Lots of fun, Stage one of operation Fun is a work in progress. I crossed my fingers to hope it works. I then stop running as I look infront of me, " Oh great, just fantastic, really universe? REALLY? Uh Igor, uh, see ya! " I run away
