Flaws: Simplistic in nature, it doesn't take much to make Michelle happy. Actually not much of a temper at all, Michelle has always been the life of the party and can start up a conversation with anyone, not afraid to speak her mind and no real care who it offends even her own brother. That's probably one of her most important flaws is her lacking in empathy to others. She can keep friends, she has simple tastes, but she always doesn't mind hurting feelings when they need to be hurt. As well, she sticks up for her friends so she is very loyal to them and has no problem in going after the person that hurt her friends. Not much else can be said about her really, though she does have an allergy to dogs and is afraid of snakes, always has been.

RP Example*: "Oh come on! You've got to be fahking kidding me!" Michelle said as she was smacked clear out of the arena. Sitting in the game room she was playing a fews rounds of Super Smash Bros. Melee, killing time as she waited for her brother to show up and they can continue with what game they were playing through. Michelle wasn't happy with what happened, playing as Link and then losing to Jigglypuff. "Of all the characters in this game, I get beat by the pink ball that can't take a fahking hit, what the hell." She couldn't blame herself though, she had three CPU players going against her and the other two CPUs were Falco and Captain Falcon. Jigglypuff was just lucky to get the final hit in that sent her out.

"Whatever, just a flook." She proclaimed as she cut off the console and stood up. Austin was late and this kinda annoyed Michelle as they had agreed to hang out and continue their co-op game today. "Maybe he's in the library, wouldn't surprise me." she muttered as she left the tent, her sword sheathed at her side. The camp was having a sunny day, as per usual due to the magical weather bubble of protection they were in. Michelle didn't like the dome when they got their, but she soon started to get used to the norm of the camp, adjusting to it quite well. Shrugging she headed to the library to look for Austin.

Flaws: Not as outgoing as his sister, Austin is one for simple tastes as well. A good book, a good meal, a good game or adventure, not much is needed to make him complacent. This has been agreed that he got this from his sister, however they are different. As stated, Austin isn't that outgoing and likes to stik to himself mostly, usually not opening up to any one other than his sister and even then it's still a challenge to get him to state how he feels. This has come to be a conflict between him and Michelle as Michelle's lack of empathy to just about anything has made her not very comforting to talk to. As it is, Austin is pretty aimless as well, not really following any certain path just going with the flow of things.
So to recap-Introvert, Aimless, and while his sister has a fear of snakes, he has a fear of sharks and most sea creatures.

RP Example*: Daylight shined into Austin's cabin, forcing him to open his eyes and thus causing a long yawn as he stretched trying to get awake. He saw that Michelle was no where to be seen in the cabin and then the memory of their agreement yesterday had flashed through his head. 'She never sleeps as late as I do, so of course she'd be in the game area.' He thought as he got up out of the bed and got dressed. Grabbing his ax and leaving his cabin he walked off towards the library, knowing his sister full well and expecting her to expect to find him there.

The norm of the camp was all there for Austin to see. The apollo kids showing off in sports, ares kids trying to hurt people that messed with them, hermes kids pulling pranks, aphrodite kids gossiping, the usual sterotypes that the cabins had for themselves. That's what Austin expected in this camp, it's what he's come to know as his life. All in all, it was what he liked about this camp, the sense that he could always count on certain things to never change. That's what he had the books in the library and video games with his sister for, those were his source of differentiality.  And that was just fine for him.

Upon entering the library the boy immediately searched for his sister and found her pretty quickly and laughed at her immediate annoyance at him for not being at the game room when they agreed to meet. "You know that I don't get up as early as you, Sis." he told her to which Michelle just rolled her eyes and marched out of the library. Austin following behind, the rest of the day was up in the wind from there.

Joint Bio

To understand the pasts behind Michelle and Austin, there is something you must know. Much of their past is a mystery, for a significant number of years they were off record, and for the rest they were found to be in either California, Mississippi, or New York. Their mother, Kayla, is known for having the ability to see through the mist and as well, meeting both the god of dreams and the god of nightmares and baring a child to each was quite...something. But that's just a short a simple description of their lives. Some details about them are certainly needed.

Where to begin though?

Ah yes, Kayla's brief history. Kayla wasn't like the other people in her family or her schools, she had the gift of sight, freedom to see through the mist. But it wasn't a gift like some would think, to her it out-casted her, left her lonely because others couldn't see what she saw and thus thought she was a crazy person when she tried to explain what she could see. Moving from school to school because of one outrageous story after another it seemed like Kayla's life was no different from any other demigod, just without the hunting by monsters. Needless to say this was her life and by the time she was out on her own she had made a home in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Once she settled down and got a stable job, Kayla met Morpheus. The god did attempt to disguise himself but with Kayla's gift she saw through him, yet she still fell for the god regardless. After dating for a few months, Kayla found herself pregnant with her daughter Michelle. Once the little girl was born Morpheus had to leave, this action leaving Kayla upset, but only just. The mortal mother understood why she had to raise her demigod daughter alone so she had a very brief period of grief. Though after a year of raising Michelle, Kayla met another god, Epiales. Like with Morpheus, Epiales failed to disguise himself but Kayla fell for the god just the same, and again after a few months Kayla was pregnant again, this time with her son Austin. Austin was born 9 months later and then Epiales was forced to leave as well. Kayla went through another period of grief, but it was even shorter because she now had to children to care for. Two children that she knew would have a hard life, much worse than what Kayla experienced.

Years passed, incidents happened not worth stating and the children grew up accustomed to the life of travel finding it nice to have a sibling to talk to and share things with. However this wasn't their life forever, when Michelle turned 13 and Austin nearing his 12th birthday, they found their family settled in Manhattan, New York. This was a good setting for the family, Michelle and Austin were able to get the feeling of a normal life, and Kayla was able to relax and eventually even met a mortal man that she ended up dating. The children enjoyed the man's company and by the time Michelle was 15 and Austin had turned 14, Kayla and Thomas married. Shortly after that they were attacked by a hellhound, that was stopped by a satyr that Kayla had asked to watch the children when the family settled here. After this attack, the children were told of their parentage by Kayla and then she and the satyr brought them to Camp Half-Blood. The siblings have been there for a year now.
