She examined the people around her and decided that none were interesting enough and chose a tree to sit by. She pulled out her headphones and stuck them into her ears. Arcade Fire blasted into her ears. She sighed and looked at the sky.

Violet looked down from her perch in her tree. The girl looked about 1 or 2 years older than herself. Even though Violet was fairly new and just got claimed that day, she recognized the girl from the dining hall. Violet jumped from the tree and landed at the base of the tree.

Isabella nodded. "Apollo's a cool guy. I've met him only once, at Olympus, last Christmas." She adjusted her caduceus on her belt. "My mother is Iris. You probably could tell from all the rainbows?"

Violet smiled. She had always been good at first impressions, just because she wasn't very serious. The hard part was keeping the conversation alive. "So how long have you been at camp?"

Isabella shrugged. She honestly didn't know. She didn't even know what year it was. The way she thought, she only thought about the things she cared about and the amount of time she has been at camp wasn't one. "I'm not sure. A long time, though. You?"

Isabella nodded. She knew the Apollo kids somewhat well. They all have pretty good heads on their shoulders. "You're lucky. My siblings don't really like me. I don't know. They're all just so... Different." She shrugged.
