Riding the Ponies!!!

I got onto a horse and ride it for a while. The wind was in my hair, I loved it!
Until I decided it was getting late so I had to go.

I went into the riding ring with a brown horse from the stable. Judging from its scabbed sides, someone who had hidden it had kicked the poor horse too hard.

"Don't worry, girl, I won't kick you."

The horse didn't appear to know what the heck I was talking about.

I rode her slowly at first, then faster and faster and faster. We were moving at such a speed that if we fell, it could result in serious injuries.

We slowed down to a walk.

I put the horse in her stable, fed her some oats, and left

I led Olive on a brown horse named Guido, and my horse Misty.

I sit on the horse. Well..at least I didn't fall off!

"Ok let me get on my horse," I say then mount the horse,"Your horse's name is Guido and mine is Misty."

I look at the horse. I pet it gently. "Hi Guido.." I say quietly.

"Ok let's start slowly, Olive squeeze a LITTLE with your leg to get Guido to move."

I do what Makelyn says. Guido starts to move a bit. My heart was pounding. Why was I being so nervous? I kept a straight face though.

I walk along side Olive,"You okay?" I ask.

I hesitate. I don't answer for a few seconds. I then get out of my daze and turn to Makelyn. "Oh, yeah. Heh." I say honestly. I smile weakly.

"Ok..then," I say then reach over and put Olive's hands on the reins in a proper position,"There, that's how you hold it."

I nodded. Guido started to move a little quicker. I bounced up and down. Meh, this was...fun.

"Woah" I say then Guido slows to a walk,"You can pull back on the reins if you want it to slow down, that's the last thing I wanted to tell you."

"Okay." I say, and pull the reins. Guido starts to slow. I smiled.

"then squeeze with your legs to make Guido go faster."

I squeezed my legs. Guido goes faster. "Wooah.." I say, then pull the reins. Guido goes a bit slower. "How do you know about this?"

I smile,"At home, I have a horse."

"Thats cool." I say nodding.

"Yea, it was," I say then look at Misty.

I look at Guido. I was never a country, horse, whatever girl. Always the city one. I sighed.

I grin,"When you get really good, you can do stuff like this," I say then Misty goes into a trot then canter. I head for a jump then jump over it.

I watch in awe. "Cool!" I say.
