While he prefers not to fight, he is able to use a bow and arrow. It's just a simple Celestial Bronze rental bow, but he likes it. He also just takes Celestial Bronze arrows out of the armory, he doesn't bother with customs or anything.
Flaws:
Dominik can be a very nasty boy. He is spiteful and gets jealous easily, and will do almost anything to ruin the happiness of others if he doesn't get his way. The lad is a huge flirt, and often courts a girl just to dump her the next day. He is horridly untrusting and uncaring, more likely to follow his own incorrect judgement than someone else's correct judgement. Worst of it all, it seems, is that he doesn't care at all about his actions or the consequences. He merely does what he pleases. To top it all off, he has a nasty scar running from his jaw to his collarbone, from left to right.
Powers:
The boy only has one power, and that is to be able to change his appearance ever so slightly. He is capable of morphing his eye color to a green or grey, or a different shade of blue; adjusting the size of his nose to give him a Roman-esque look or not; and to fade the scar on his neck. He can only do it once a day, and its effects last for about four hours. Changing the color of his eyes or the shape of his nose is quite draining, and takes a conscious effort to keep. Fading his scar is less draining on him, for he's been doing it for a good five years or so. If he tries to change his appearance more than once a day, he gets nauseated and sickly, and unable to do much else except lie down.
Life Before CHB:
Once upon a time, Giovanno and Aphrodite met while she visited Italy to mess with tourists or something. He fell madly in love with her, as she showed up to his tiny cafe every day. The man showered her with gifts and compliments by the dozen, and she soon started to love him back. They chatted for hours on end after the cafe closed for the night, and quickly became the best of friends. She stayed only for two weeks, and Giovanno never heard from her again. Nine months later, however, a basket appeared on his doorstep, rose petals adorning the ground and a dove perched on the handle. He took in the child, scared to death on how to raise a child. In later years, he asked himself many times, "Why?" but in that moment, it was as if he was put under a beckoning spell to take care of the child.
Dominik lived in Italy for nine years, only moving to America after another beckoning sort of spell was cast upon his father. Shortly after moving, Dominik was kept after class one day. His science teacher, always somewhat mellow and sweet with the boy hopped up on the desk. Dominik was used to this, Mrs. Muriel was always on her desk, trying to make the class fun. With a smile, she turned into Euryale, and slashed little Nik's throat. Another teacher was passing by, and saw what happened and called an ambulance. He was hospitalized for a good while and left the situation with a nasty scar that wouldn't fade and terrible trust issues with everyone but his father. Two years later, with no important events happening in between, Giovanno told him the truth. At first, it devastated Dominik and made him lose trust with his father, but once he got to camp, he relaxed and accepted life as is. He wasn't exactly popular with anyone, given his attitude problem, but he was completely fine with that.
RP Example:
Dominik stepped out on the archery range. The sun was shining, birds were chirping, and campers fighting amongst themselves were few. It was a perfect day, and the boy wasn't about to waste it. His eyes shone with a kind of happiness, something he hadn't really felt in a while. It was freeing. He raised his bow, nocked the arrow, pulled back and released. It flew and hit the middle ring. Not too bad, but not exactly good. Fine enough for him, though, he knew he wasn't good at it. He nocked another arrow, and repeated the process. All the arrows were perfectly average for a usual archer, and he was fine with that. It was better than usual for him, and that's all that mattered.
