As the lights went out, Charlie crept into his bed ignoring the squeaking sound that had been his door. He fell asleep after three whole days of not a single blink of an eye shut.
The next morning, Charlie woke up from his sleep, his eyes aching and his stomach growling. He needed food, badly. As he silently made his way downstairs, he heard a voice. They were all in his kitchen, stealing the food “Uhm, e-excuse me?” He asked politely. He turned and stared at him like he did something wrong. He then stepped forward stepped forward “Matthew Montgomery, I live here.”
“Uh, No, No you don’t.”
“I’ve lived here the past 6 months.”
Charlie turned to face the wall. Had he really slept for 6 months?
