Darius's bunk

Darius noticed a girl walk into his cabin, a mace in her hand. Darius realized only slowly that she was heading for him. Darius was fast, though. He tapped his snake charmed necklace and it transformed into his spear, which he expanded from 80 centimetres out to 1 metre and twenty centimetres. He then plucked his barbed-wire whip, and let it slash throught he air once. Caspar hissed in his cage, and Darius smiled at him, telling him to stay down for now. He wasn't poisonous, but he had a very strong jaw, and bites could cause finger amputations, or maybe deep gashes.

Darius smiled. She didn't realize he had traps set up all over the room, like the one that grabbed you by the feet, hauled you up to the roof, and then killed you painfully with more than 7 stabs to the ribs and heart. His fingers found the portable switch of the trap, the only thing stopping it from working. He moved backwards a bit, grinning. His eyes turned darker, the way they always did when he knew he was about to see blood. Or was he? He didn't know, he just carried on grinning, the shadows flickering over his tanned, handsome face. "One step closer, and you're dead." Darius said. She would assume that he would attack, but he wouldn't. He would flick the switch, and she would be hauled upwards. Then there was another switch, that made the daggers work.

Darius smirked slightly as she tried to undo the trigger, which she did. "Clever girl." He said in a hushed, 'creepy' whisper. But he had other plans. There were many other traps in the room, things that she could escape, but they would make deep gashes and leave her with scars and pain. The books were just things to hold back the many posionous arrows that would retract and shoot out again multiple times, or the other few things he had up his sleeve. (Which was slightly ironic, since he was wearing a t-shirt, but Darius didn't care at all.) He grinned as he let his whip slash, making her eyes flicker to it, if only for a millisecond. That was all Darius needed. He whipped it again and again, and he smiled slowly as he slipped another switch out of his pockets. He flipped both switches. The funny thing was, it worked. Usually, things like these wouldn't work the first time, but this time, they did. Arrows flew, but Darius knew exactly where to step. He felt and arrow rip a bit of his short t-shirt sleeve, but it didn't harm him. He lunged, spear used as a defense, his barbed wire whip slashing through to the girl. "Who are you, anyway?" He snarled before pouncing.

Darius smiled as he stopped moving, he stood, seconds before the mace hit him. But just before, he smiled as he pressed a button, making a noose around his arms and legs, pulling him up to the roof. He could use all of his traps for an advantage. He was on top of the cabin, the fresh air brushing off of his already sweaty clothes. He untied the ropes quickly, then pressed the same switch again, making them convert back into the roof. He grinned. He had worked on that trap for longer than 2 months, one of his most brilliant ones, aswell. He whistled as he jumped off the roof, landing in a rolll, and getting up again. He ran into his cabin, and swung his whip at the girl. He had a sore hand from the rope, but he tried to ignore it as best as he could.

Darius just smiled as the blade came down on him. His spear blocked it with a powerful blow, but that was all he needed, really. He used his powers, and sent the girl a nightmare. Whatever she feared, would be in this dream. He focused hard, and made the dream last his maximum of 2 minutes. She would have to got through that, no matter what. It would buy Darius time. Lots of time. But he could also use another nifty little trick of his: See people's nightmares. He would know what she feared, and then he would be able to tease her with it later on.

Darius's eyes widened as the girl from earlier on appeared: What was her name? Andria? Yes, that was indeed it. "Why?" He snarled. "Why did you come after me? You knew I wasn't social, and you sent...yourself...whatever, why did you do it?" Darius snarled, his spear blocking anther blow. He felt dizzy, so he tumbled onto his bunk. "Go on, then. Kill me. I have nothing left, really. Just an abusive, alcoholic step-father. Nothing else." He didn't realize that his eyes were wettining...what the hell was wrong with him today? Not only had he talked to someone, then given up on a fight, then started crying? What in the world was happening?

Darius screamed in pure agony as the spikes rammed into his shoulder, but he fell back, calmed as he saw the blood flow. It hurt like hell. "Why..did you...do..it?!" Darius managed to snarl, his eyes clenched together in pain. "What did I ever do to you..GAH!" He scremed once more, his throat sore and raw. His tears retreated. That was his past. This was now. He gasped for air, as he reached into his pocket for his emergency slice of ambrosia. He ate it, the pain fading, leaving him with a dull ache. He heard his neck crack a bit as he stood up, but he didn't care. He looked up at her, his eyes almost black. He usually had completely green and sparkly eyes, now...they were dull and motionless. His eyes fixed on Caspar, he stood, waiting for another hit.

"Oh, honey, I don't love." Darius whispered. "I kill." He then added, his eyes still fixed. They flickered over the girls face. He slowly transformed his spear back into his charm necklace, and put his barbed wire whip back into his weapon belt. "Now tell me, why did you do it, honey?" Darius said in a deep, forcing tone.

Darius winced, but he couldn't feel the punches. He felt anger boiling up. "How would you know, anyway?" Darius said and smirked softly. He couldn't mamage a strong one, his shoulder hurt a bit, and he sat down back on his bed, legs crossed.
