Riding and relationships

Kaden walked in, debating whether or not to take this chance. He never rode a horse or a pegasus before, believing that he would most likely fall and break...well,everything. He approached a horse, and it neighed wildly. He put his hand out, it shaking a bit. It licked his hand. He wiped in on the floor, and continued to look at the horses. He smiled at a white one, petting it a bit. He went to get it out and ride it, just to see what it was like, when he heard footsteps behind him.

Zalia eyed the boy standing next to the large white horse. His brown hair was a mess. It looked like her rolled out of bed, pulled on jeans, and kept the same wrinkly camp shirt. Zalia giggled and shook her head. As she passed the white horse it neighed and reared loudly. Zalia winked at the horse, it was the same one she stole for a midnight ride last week.

Kaden stared at the girl. Can you say hot? H-O-T? He hadn't had a crush like this since...Darcy. He thought about her almost daily, still not believing he blew it by basically cheating...but it was an accidental cheat....he sighed. He looked back up, at the girl. He started to sweat a bit. This is when he will now completely make a fool of himself. "H-h-h i, I'm K-Kaden and I-I t-think that you're-you're h-hot." He grinned, his face red from a combo of blushing and embarrassment.

Zalia smiled the smile that got her everything she had at this camp. "Hi, Kaden. My names Zalia, not hot." Zalia grabbed a saddle and placed it on the horses back. Zalia pulled her blonde curls into a high ponytail. Pushing her bangs out of her face and began to mess with the buckles, "Wanna help?"

Kaden nervously laughed. "I'm n-not g-good at anything." Nice one, Kaden. Find a pretty girl that probably likes big strong sporty guys and tell her that you can't do anything. Kaden was very skinny; he was only like 125 pounds and 5'9". He thought of Jason Sungo. Man, he had the life. Any popular kid had the life. He looked at the girl again, thinking about how beautiful she was. This was beyond a crush.

Zalia smiled, and grabbed his hand. Gracefully she showed him how to buckle the saddle. "You're cute." His hand was warm and sweaty like he was nervous. The thought made her giddy. "Have you ever been on?" Zalia fastened the last strap and leaned over the horse to look at him closer.

Kaden got a fuzzy feeling and felt like passing out. "Thanks," he said, her hand on his. It was magical. He nodded his head no. "I've always wanted to try it, but, I mess up everything."

Zalia smiled and turned his hand in hers. She drew circles around his palm. "Wanna try?" Zalia jumped onto the horse and squirmed as close to the neck as possible. She looked at Kaden expectantly and patted the back of the saddle.

Kaden got on, closing his eyes. Imma die, Imma die.

Zalia kicked the door open and steer the horse out of the stables. "You okay?"

"Mhm mhm," Kaden said, lieing. He wrapped his arms tightly around her waist.

ooc: I'm going to lay off the color for now because I'm tired and I'm not RPing anyone but him.

Zalia felt him gripping her hips. She smiled and urged the horse to go faster.

Kaden didn't actually fall off; he opened his eyes. This felt amazing. He screamed, happily, letting o of her. He enjoyed this.

Zalia couldn't help not laughing at the happiness in his voice. Naturally she leaned forward and steered the horse around the cabin courtyard. Just as quivkly as theygained speed they slowed down. "How do you feel?"

"Not dead," he laughed. Kaden felt free, and not like a total loser. "Do you always do this?" He asked, looking around at the scenery that was Camp Half-Blood.

Zalia nodded and looked at the forest in the distance, "I perfer night time riding, but I got caught last time." Zalia slowly turned her self in the saddle until she was facing Kaden. Their knees awkwardly hit each other as the horse walked along the path. "Parent?"

It took him a second to realize she meant Hypnos. "Hypnos, god of sleep. What about you?" I bet it's Aphrodite, he thought.

Zalia smiled, "Athena." She saw the confusion on his face. Nodding she kicked his foot playfully, "Aphrodite's children would never even enter the sables."

"So, you're smart. I like that." Should he ask her out? Was she flirting or just being nice? Probably just nice, he thought.

Zalia nodded and looked at his hair. She loved how messy it was. The horse was quickly nearing the stables. Why had Zalia offered this stranger a ride? Just something about him made her feel good. "So..."

"Um...Zalia, would you like to...uh..." He turned red. "Nevermind."

Zalia looked disappointed. She thought about lying and saying she had a boyfriend or something... but she really wanted to see him again. "No, what did you want to ask me?" Zalia tried her smile again and added very quickly, "I'm single."

Kaden's face lighted up. "Do you want to come over to my bunk later and watch a movie? Or we could always go out for dinner...or..."

Zalia smiled and nodded, "Of Course! I'm mean... yeah. When?" Zalia was mentally planning her outfit and imagining how the night would play out.

"Is tonight at eight alright?" It was around noon at the time. He dismounted the horse, holding out a hand to help her off.
