fake vs real

Hey everyone, I think we all have that one awkward scar that people might ask about, so what do you tell them?

People will make up fake stories to cover up the bad truth, so what are your fake vs real stories?

(please no cutting stories)


I have two giant scars on my upper arm and forearm

Fake: I got in a fight and was slashed at twice by my opponents knife
Real: I fell out of a tree to get one, burned myself with a flat iron to get the other

I also have a small scar on my ankle
Fake: Someone stepped on me while wearing high heels
Real: shaving cut

The small scar next to my eyebrow
Fake: Someone kicked me in the face
Real: I ran into a doorknob when I was 2

Cuts on my legs

Fake: I fell out of a tree
Real: Shaving cuts

Bruise on my forehead

Fake: I tried to dodge a punch and got nailed in my forehead
Real: Its left over from birth. I was a purple baby.

i have a scar above my left eyebrow

fake: i got into a fight and had to fend my own against two guys who were bigger than me with only a glass bottle
real: i blacked out in the middle of a voice lesson and hit my head on the sharp corner of a metal table rack

i have a giant scar on my upper arm

Fake:I got it when my surfboard scraped my arm
Real:when I was 7, the edge of my pool made a cut on my arm.

I have a scar on my knee

Fake: I got it when I fell off my bike
Real:dived for a goalie save on hard dirt, no knee pads.

moonshaped scar on my arm

fake: burned myself with a soldering thingy
real: burned myself on a pan i forgot to take out of the oven before preheating it

scar on my knee

fake: accidentally stabbed myself with a pencil
real: got ran over by a little kid on a scooter

Scar on my knee

Fake: (this is horrible I was six) I fell off the swing and landed on a pinecone
Real: I cut it climbing the fence I was told not to climb

Burn scar on my elbow

Fake: I was cooking and the pan touched me...
Real: We had these baby ducks and I was reaching for one and I touched the heat lamp accidentally and dropped the duck.

Crescent-shaped scar on my forearm

Fake: I was bit by a very angry cat.
Real: My friend stabbed me with a pencil during some self-defense training.

Scar cutting across my leg

Fake: I was cut by a knife from some crazy kid.
Real: Kayaking incident involving me, and idiot, and some rusty pipe.

I have a small scar on my scalp.
Fake: I headbutted the sharp edge of a table.
Real: An iron fell on my head.

I dont actually lie about my scars bc they're like life to me but if i diiiid this is what i'd probably say:

Fake: some nutcase hit me with a bottle in a bar fight
Real: in like preschool i was running and ran into a wooden shelf

[shin scars]
fake: was really aggressive in soccer
Real: i wore ice skates without socks and the plastic cut into my legs

[Eventual chest scar; i dont have it yet but will]
Fake: got stabbed
Real: surgery

[Finger Scar]
Fake: ...idek
Real: my friend and i played crack the whip on ice skates and we both fell simultaneously but she got up first and went over my finger with her skate. :I

[arm scar]
fake: got stabbed through the arm with a pen
Real: i was drunk and tried to like myself on fire

[Foot Scars]
fake: idk
Real: you know the square scooters from gym class? I road one down a hill without wearing shoes and my feet got trapped under them and ground against the cement. Funfact it tore off like all the skin on my toes and the balla of my feet and i was a bloody mess and walked home like that lmao

[Heel Scars]
Fake: took an arrow to my achilles heel
Real: also not wearing socks, my skin rubbed off against the plastic of my shoes--the insides of my shoes are still stained in blood. Wear socks guys for real. :|


I have like another half a dozen scars but they're not really big or in interesting spots. Elbow and knee scars from being a kid and such. I DO have a birthmark just above my butt a little left of my spine that I tell people is my built in tramp stamp tattoo though. They say that birthmarks are left over from who you were and how you died in a past life, so i occassionally joke that I took a shotgun shell to the spine and that's how I died lol

Go with the real version. That one sounds waaay more epic. Even if you hit your elbow, dayuum.

Burn Scar on my Ankle

Fake: I got to close to a campfire.
Real: When I was a baby, I fell asleep next to a lantern.

Scar on My Elbow

Fake: I tried to Fly.
Real: I was playing softball, and I tripped over 1st Base.

Scar Below My Knee

Fake: I tripped.
Real: I tried to jump from one tree stump to another, and I missed.

graze on my knee
Fake: I tried doing parkour
Real: I slipped on grass trying to move out of the way for my friend

((I know this isn't an injury but IDC))
mud all up my tights and on my uniform
Fake: I was hugging the grass
Real: I slipped... AGAIN
