by High King Fridgeir 7/3/2014, 2:44 amI walked into the mess hall with a smile on my face. I may be able to create my own food, but the mess hall was a place to meet people. I sat down at a table near the entrance and waited to see if someone came to sit with me.

I push open the doors and limp inside before my injured leg is caught. I hop over to the table with the food and grab an apple. I glance over the room and notice only one girl in the entire place. Which is strange because this place is usually packed. I shrug and go to sit across from her (Davis)

A boy sits at the table I am at, directly across from me. I smile and say, "Hi, I'm Riley." I realize I am hungry and use this moment to conjure some food. I summon a plate of spaghetti and meatballs, one of my favorite meals.

"Davis." I say, taking a bite of the apple. I squint my eyes, looking over her, judging to see if she was worth it or not. I glance down at my empty cup and run my finger around the rim. "Mountain Dew." I state as the cup fills up with the green, delicious drink. I set the apple down on the table, making sure the bitten part doesn't touch and take a gulp of the soda.

I say, "So, Davis, who's your god parent?" I began eating my spaghetti and meatballs with a fork my food came with. The best part was that when I needed a utensil to eat my food, it gave me what I needed.

"Hephaestus." I say, taking another bite of the apple followed by a sip of Mountain Dew. "What about you?" I take one last big bite of the apple and throw it towards the trash can. I miss miserably but turn the other cheek. I look at her spaghetti and frown how could anyone eat something so repulsive. I think to myself

I say, "My mother is Hestia." I finish finish the final meatball and began eating the pasta. It may seem strange to eat the meatballs separate, but to me it felt natural. Like how a dog feels like it is right to chase a cat.

"Fun." I state simply. I drink the last of my Mountain Dew and sigh heavily. I rub my temples to try to relieve the headache. I pull my dagger out of it's sheath and move it back and forth, letting the light bounce on and off my face. I run my finger the length of the blade, leaving a small cut on my finger with droplets of blood on the blade.

I sit down at a table with my dinner sheepishly. There was only two people at this table other then the about 20 in the next one over. Um.... Hey I'm Clarissa, Apollo Then I notice the blood on the guy's hand next to me. Want me to fix that? Why did I say that? I'm already exahausted today... uh... nevermind. She gets up and walks away.

I raise an eyebrow at the chick that just left and shrug my shoulders. My cup refills but this time with Dr. Pepper instead of Mountain Dew. I take a drink and set it on the table again. I sigh quite loudly and rest my head on my hands
