You usually tolerate (yeah, not love!) going to your fighting classes but now you were in a mood and you weren't interested. And now it was noon and you had nothing to do so you thought, why not go see if any dumb newbies wander by the hill? So far, there has been zero and you were getting bored there. Sure, you tried keeping yourself entertained by jamming out to some MCR and Green Day and smoking your cigarette pack through but that hasn't been a blast. Maybe you should go to the arena and watch everyone fail but if you go there then you'll be forced to fail too. And a plaid shirt with skinny jeans isn't exactly the best fighting protection. So you just sucked it up and start on cigarette number 6.

lou was tingling all over. he was out of cigarettes and thought he might die. his stash was gone, probably stolen by his siblings. he never got along with them, but he never expected them to steal his cigarettes. he spent twenty minutes pacing in his cabin, planning his way out of here without getting caught by chiron. pacing pacing pacing. he needs his smoke, he needs the poison in his lungs in order to breathe and live even though he knows that poison will kill him eventually, he needs it like water.
Lou's head was too scrambled and he was too desperate to think of a plan properly. his impulsive self was simply too strong, and he ran out of the cabin towards the hill. he ran through the courtyard, avoiding eye contact until the reached the end of it, and tried to calm himself. running around will only bring attention to him, won't it?
walking slower, lou still speed walked towards the hill, and nearly crawled up the steep angle towards the tree that marked the border between camp half-blood and the real world, the real world where cigarettes and alcohol and heroin existed. the real world where he could breathe the poison air.
he could already smell it. that wonderful smell of cigarette smoke. maybe he was having a stroke, it smelled so close and so real.
no, it was real and it was close. he looked around the top of the hill, willing his eyes to focus and for his heart to slow. the cigarettes are near. like little rabbit prey.

The clouds looked so peaceful up in the sky, hanging there like giant balls of cotton candy. You hated it. Your already twisted mind was picturing thunderbolts and imaginary knives coming down and destroying each one. Yeah, if that happened you might smile. Actually no, you'll just enjoy that.
But after a while of shuffling through different songs and going through half of your cigarette pack, you heard someone. And oh geez, this person sounded weird. It was some dude that was coming up the hill and oh gods he looked bad.

"You look horrible." You said out loud, digging for another cigarette.

"You look horrible," Lou heard. Were they talking to him? Because he was very aware of how he looked, thank you. He probably looked crazy and desperate, and well. He was. There was no denying that.
He strode towards them quickly, as he walked very fast due to his long legs. "Listen," he growled as he watched them reach into their bag. He felt a little silly, looking down at them, but his head was about to split open. "Either you give me a cig, or.. something else, I don't know. Dont you know it's not nice to insult people?"
