Bray and Blue [PRIVATE]

Blue stood near the water, waiting for Bray. He did promise to teach her how to surf. Her long brown hair was in a tight braid and she wore a blue bikini top and matching board shorts. She waited patiently, looking around every once in a while.

Bray walked onto the warm beach sand, which failed to get cold, even in November. He wore his blue and silver surfing uniform thing, as well as a tan pair of sandals. He had just enough money in his hand to rent two surfboards for an hour or so. He didn't fix his black hair before arriving, knowing he'd get it drenched anyway. He had promised his new really shy friend, Blue, a surfing lesson, and he wanted to fulfill that promise. He saw her standing near the water and approached. He smiled a bit at her. "Let's rent surfing boards first," he said, stating it a bit obviously.

Blue turned. "Oh, yes. Of course." she said, blusing slightly. Her shyness was starting to come back. She forced a smile onto her face so that she could calm down. "Surfboards are kind of essential for surfing." she tried to joke. She played with her fingers and waited for Bray to lead the way.

Bray smirked, nodding. He went over and rented them surfboards (which came with lifejackets); he got himself a black one, and Blue a pink one. He lifted up both, one arm around each, and went over to her. "Alright, so, let's start by slowly paddling into the water. Once we're there, wait for a wave- try to stand up during it. If you can't, then simply fall into the water and swim to shore- I, err, think." He was a horrible teacher. Blue was probably better off with an actual instructor. He put his life jacket on, giving her one, and went out on his 'board.

Blue listened carefully to his words and then out her life jacket on. She was nervous. Extremely nervous. She had never done this and she was honestly scared. "Okay. Let's go." she said quickly. She went out on her board and waited for a wave like Bray told her to.

Bray waited, eyeing the water. He saw a huge wave coming towards them. He started paddling towards it, and soon, started surfing- well, for a few moments, then he lost balance and fell into the water/wave.

Blue watch Bray and then waited for another wave. Another big one came towards her so she mimicked Bray's actions and she was up for about two seconds before she lost her balance and fell.

Bray barely caught her- he just came above water. He gasped a bit, scared.

Blue gasped as she felt someone catch her. She turned and saw Bray. "Oh, um, thanks..." she said, blushing a bright pink.

Bray blushed a little. "No problem," he quickly said, his feelings raging. He didn't know why, and he didn't want to think about it. He looked around for their surfboards. "Do you see our ehm-surfboards?" he asked, a bit awkwardly. His long black hair were almost to his mouth, drenched. He looked around again, not seeing them. "If they're not anywhere in sight, we might want to go back to shore," he said, not mentioning he'd probably have to pay for both surfboards.

Blue looked around. She nodded at his words until she saw them. "Oh! Look! There they are!" she said.

Bray let her into the water, as he swam over and got his board. He got on and swam back to their starting point, ready for the next wave to happen. He kept his eye on Blue.

Blue swam to her board and paddled over to beside Bray. "This is fun." she said with a smile.

Bray laughed a bit at that. "Glad you say that. Now, let's try this again."

Blue pursed her lips. "Hey, do...do you want to come see some of my drawings?" she asked.

Bray heard her say something about her drawings. "Uhm, I guess. But shouldn't we go at least one more round, first?" he asked. A wave started to come on.

Blue blushed. "Yeah. Sorry. Okay. Let's do this." she said. She looked ahead of her and started paddling to the wave.

Bray was successful this time and started surfing. "Woooohooo!" he hollered in excitement, loving the water splashing on him.

Blue laughed as she watched Bray surf. She paddled to another wave and as she got up, she realized that she was doing it! Then she lost her blance and fell into the water. She resurfaced, laughing.

Bray laughed a bit at the way she lost her balance. He swam back to shore, on his board. He got up, putting the board to the side. He got a towel from a nearby little rack near the surfboard place and dried himself off. He put on his sandals.

Blue swam back to the shore, dragging her board with her. She got out of the water and placed her board near Bray's. She smiled and pulled her hair out of the now messy braid. She quickly dried her hair with towel off the rack and dried the rest of herself off. She realized that she had forgotten shoes.

"So, you wanted to show me your drawings, right?" he asked her, almost fully dried off.

Blue looked at him as she pulled her hair into a ponytail. "If you want to see them." she said.

Bray nodded. "I'd like to see them very much," he said, and a slight blush appeared on his cheeks. He tried to use his towel to cover it, pretending to dry off his hair.

Blue smiled, blushing a light pink as well. "Come on, they're at my cabin."she said, leading the way.
