    some bodies may be temples
Name: your name is virgo lovelace.
Age: technically, you're one hundred and thirteen years old, born on august twenty sixth, born in 1989 1901. you physically look nineteen, though, having joined artemis' hunt at sixteen and leaving two years ago.
    Gender: you're a cis girl.
    Sexuality: you're bisexual.

Eyes: your eyes are blue gray. typically they look warm and welcoming, but you can look dead threatening when needed.
Hair: your hair is blonde. you cut it short recently, but it used to be longer and wavier.
Height: you're actually quite tall, standing at five feet and ten inches. a lot of people have told you you should consider being a model or something, but it's not quite an area you're interested in.
Body Type: you're pretty slender and not very curvy, to be honest. it doesn't bother you too much.
Skin Color: your skin is somewhere between tan and pale.

God Parent: your godly parentage is bia, goddess of force. you like to think it's fitting for you.
Mortal Parent: your father has been dead for many years, but his name is calvin lovelace.
Country of Origin: you're from america.
Pets: you haven't got any pets, but back when you were in the hunt you had a lovely wolf. you assume it's been given to a new member.
life before camp: you were born on the twenty sixth of august in 1901, and you can only assume it was a surprise for your father when you were born; he didn't speak about it that much. your father didn't really speak to you much, honestly; he was a lawyer and was much too busy working on cases, and you were much too busy being a "proper lady" and learning how to "please your man." all in all you felt somewhat nauseated by the fact that nearly your whole life was to be spent preparing to please your future husband, but nobody cared to listen to what you thought much.

so life went on. you learned to sew, and you learned to cook, and you learned to clean, and you learned to be the perfect trophy wife and the perfect mother and to cope with that, which you did well enough. you spoke to the maid and would play nice with the relatives when they visited, even though you saw the nasty looks from your aunts and uncles.

'the girl without a mother,' they called you, the b*stard child. everyone assumed your mother dead; your father never spoke to them of her. you had nothing to defend her with, because your father had never spoken to you of her. the maids, while they loved you so, didn't know a thing about her, because your father never spoke to them of her.

your father never spoke of your mother. you were a motherless child, raised by the maids and a nanny.

    and so life went on.

while you found it all sickening, there wasn't much you could do about it. you learned to play piano and you entertained guests and you flirted with the boys in the neighborhood, but only as much as any responsible woman should.

and then the day came, the day you found out about your marriage. the marriage your father had planned since the day your mother had told him you were to be born, before she left him.

that was the only time your father spoke of her.

sure, when boys flirted, you flirted back, and sometimes you'd look at the girls at the dances you went to and appreciate them, but marriage. you couldn't stand to think of marriage, not at sixteen, not ever, and especially not to that locksley boy, definitely not him. you saw how he treated his sisters and he yelled at his own mother. no good could come of a boy like that, you knew, but your father wouldn't hear any of it.

'you're just a girl,' he said. 'you're just a foolish, stupid, girl,' he told you. 'how can you know you don't want to marry?' he asked. 'all girls want to marry,' he stated.

and so life should have moved on. you didn't let it.

you packed a bag with some money, a change of clothes, and stole a knife from the kitchen to defend yourself with. you couldn't stay and marry that wretched boy, you couldn't stay with your father. you left your life and all it had promised.

it wasn't long before the monsters found you, and you ran for as long as you could, which was only five days. you were just about to collapse from exhaustion, too tired to keep running, when you heard a whistle and several silver arrows arced across the sky, piercing the monster's chest. you watched as it exploded into dust, stared around in wonder, asking yourself, 'who shot it down? who else could see it?'

that was when you met the goddess of the hunt, when you pledged to never date and hunt by her side and got claimed as a daughter of bia shortly after. you thought you'd stay with these girls forever, thought you had formed lifelong friendships.

you had seen a lot of girls come and go in your time as a hunter. some died honorably in battle, some broke their vow, some simply asked to leave. you weren't there as long as some, but you were certainly there for longer than most. unlike a lot of the other older hunters, you tried your best to stay current, always catching up with the new recruits on what trends were in, how people spoke and dressed and danced and what music they listened to. you adjusted, just in case. just to be safe.

you stayed with the hunters for a hundred years before you grew tired of not dating and the life isolated from the rest of high society. you were adjusted, you knew how things worked. whenever trips were needed to be made out of hunt you always offered to go, spent as much time as you could drinking in how things had changed and making sure you remembered the changes. you left the hunt in 2011 and went to camp half blood, where you've lived ever since.

Talents: you're excellent at archery, as would be expected of any girl who has been a member of artemis' hunt for over one hundred years. you're also quite talented when it comes to a lot of other forms of combat. you're also quite good at bird calls and tracking, and sewing, too. you're quite good at cooking, and you're probably a bit rusty but you could play piano awfully well when you left.
Weapon: you've got a small celestial bronze axe that you keep attached to a chain on your belt, and while it is delicate and cute, you know how to do some serious damage with it. you've got an awful lot of knives, too, small hunting knives you keep hidden by strapping them to your arms and the bottoms of your shoes and to your legs when you wear skirts and dresses. you also have a bow and arrows, although those are pretty simple. while good quality, they're nothing like the bow you had while in the hunt.
    axe:
personality: you can be a bit manipulative at times, honestly, and kind of cold, too. despite being over one hundred years old and having sworn off all forms of dating for the majority of that time, you're quite into fashion trends and gossip, as well as being awfully flirty. all throughout your time in the hunt you tried to stay current on the trends and all, listening to modern music and adopting modern clothes and slang must quicker than some of your fellow hunters. as previously stated, you're very, very flirty, flirting with boys, girls, all sorts of people. you've dated around lots since leaving the hunt, never having actually serious relationships but having lots of flings. while you can be harsh and manipulative to others, those who know you well see your more caring side. you're fiercely protective of those you love.
Flaws: you're not very good at letting people get close to you, which leads to you having few close relations. you'd also do nearly anything for success, and you will walk over others in order to get what you want. you're quite manipulative, too, and while that can help you gain information when you need to, sometimes you find yourself manipulating people without even meaning to. you can also be quite flighty, especially when it comes to infatuation; you'll find a boy with a pretty face or a girl with strong thighs and become obsessed for a few days, spending the whole time kissing them and not coming up for air, and then suddenly get bored with them. you get this all consuming obsession, only for you to become completely devoid of any interest at all, almost finding yourself annoyed.

Powers: you haven't got any powers, really, which is fine; you can do enough damage with your fists.
rp example: it's not that abigail is boring, it's just that you've kind of realized she isn't your type at all, not really. which is strange, because she entirely is your type, at the same time. she's a bit shorter than you are, but she's strong, and the way she kisses you is incredible, but.

    but.

she's been staring at you with these huge moon eyes across the archery range the entire time you were there for lessons, and then at sword practice, and then at lunch, and you don't do commitment. relationships aren't your thing. you think the girls in the hunt would be proud to hear that.

you don't think they'd be proud to hear that you've already got your eye on a boy to flirt with and kiss until he gets too clingy, too, just like the rest of them. you try not to think these things, try not to think about what they're approve of and what they'd disapprove of. they're not a part of your life anymore, and you're not a part of theirs, and it's best for everyone if you move on.
Any notes about your characters: if you couldn't tell, virgo is an ex hunter
but all are ruins at your feet.
