Nutella love

I decided to be a little more healthy than i usually am. That meant coding and eating with fresh air instead of huddling in a blanket in by cabin. I had a hidden jar of Nutella&Go in my pocket, and had my laptop in my bag. It wasn't that cold out thanks to Dionysus, so I didn't see the point in bringing a blanket.

I reached the lake and sat down on a large boulder. The climate control thing at camp always had me surprised, and now I was surprised to see the lake not covered in ice. I pulled out my laptop and opened my program. Today i decided to animate, I was getting kind of bored of hacking the US government. You would expect them to have all these mindboggling secrets, but they really just have everything you'd hear on the news, all political boring stuff. I searched their entire program thingy, and didn't find one alien discovery or something. Very lame.

So today I decided to just make a video game. Maybe recreate Flappy Bird. It wouldn't be hard. Maybe i could put it back to the app store. That would make me some money.
"Alright..." I decided that would be the best idea, or maybe make an app that will be even bigger than Flappy Bird.

Having nothing else to do and too bored for cleaning duties, I decided to go for a swim at the lake. But since it was too cold, even with the climate control, I decided to go to the lake, where the water was always warmer. So, putting a chocolate bar and a bottle of water in my bag for later, I jogged to the lake. Before I dove in, I hid my stuff on a tree branch so that no one would notice and try to steal anything from me. Painful experiennces made me learn that fact.

While underwater some nymphs came by so I decided to stay underwater for as much as I could and play with them. When I emerged to take a breathe, I noticed that the lake was not as empty as it was before. A girl was sitting on a rock, doing something on a computer. Since the nymphs left I decided to go out and socialise. "Hey!"I called out at her as I started walking back outside

I finished the game and tested it out. It worked just like the real Flappy Bird. I smiled and saved it to my documents, with all my other creations. I could make it better and then compete with the original creator and I'd totally win.

My smile faded and my head snapped up when I heard a voice. I saw a boy coming up to me and I groaned mentally. I wasn't in the mood to be around people, but I thought i might as well be nice. "Hi." I called back to the boy. He looked like he'd just been playing with nymphs or something, because no one could be under water that long and still be happy.

Reaching for my bag, I pulled out a towel and dried myself before putting on shirt."I'm Marcus. Nice to meet you"I said and sat down next to her. "Do you mind? I could leave if you do, but I'd rather stay here than go clean my cabin"I informed her seriously

I smiled optimistically. "I'm Liza. Nice to meet you to," I didn't think I knew this guy, but he had this underworld air to him. I walked past the Minor Underworld Gods cabin enough to know. Melinoe maybe?

"Nah I don't mind." I looked out at the lake and realized that I left all my half siblings to clean the cabin so we wouldn't get dishes duty. Well, i wouldn't be much help even if I was there, but I probably should get back to tidy by bunk before dinner. "I really don't want to clean my cabin either."

"Well then, we should toast to that"I laughed and pulled out my chocolate bar, cutting it in the middle."Want some?"I asked and offered her the first half

bic: "Ooh, sure." I replied, gladly talking the chocolate. I reached into my coat pocket and took out my Nutella. "Do you want some of this?" I didn't see why someone wouldn't want any, but it wouldn't hurt to ask.

"So, who is your godly parent?" I asked, trying to make demi-god small talk.

"Yeah, thanks"I grinned and dipped my half of the chocolate bar in Nutella before taking a bite."Acheron. Big bad dude of death or something"I explained, my voice a bit muffled since I was talking with my mouth full."Sorry about that, not really polite. Although I've forgotten how to be polite over the years."I mumbled to myself

"Isn't Acheron the god of the underworld river of pain" I asked. Okay, I sometimes pay attention when I have lessons in the library. It's just remembering stories that i'm hard with. But gods? i'm pretty good with those.

Haha, it's okay. I'm not a polite person at all."

"Yeah whatever. To me he's just a suckish dad. How about you, Blondie?"I asked and grinned at her."Demeter? Aphrodite? Apollo?"

I was momentarily confused about that, but didn't blame him. Most of the gods didn't care about their children until a demi-god named Percy Jackson told them to claim their children at at least 13. If it took a demi-god to make gods notice something like their own children, I could understand why someone would hate their godly parent.

I grinned back at Marcus when he tried guessing my godly parent. "No, I'm so not pretty enough to be a daughter of Aphrodite. I'm a daughter of Athena."

"Oh, come on, are you kidding me? You could totally be an Aphrodite's kid. But Athena it is. Should have figured it out by the laptop. What wereyou doing anyway?"I asked curiously and looked at the now turned off piece of technology

I frowned when he made the comment about Aphrodite. To be honest, I think i spent more time in the morning trying to make myself look bad instead of good. I didn't like people complimenting my looks, because most of the time it was annoying people who were lying. But my eyes lit back up again when Marcus asked what I was doing. I turned on the laptop and showed him my remake of Flappy Bird. "I was recreating the app Flappy Bird. You've heard about it, right?"

I scratched the back of my head awkwardly."Uh, no, not really. I'm not much for technology.Care to show me?"I asked with a small smile

"Oh yeah sure." I started playing, showing him how it worked and how annoying it is. "Apparently they had to take it off the app store because so many people would break their phones or something," I said. "You wanna try?"

"Nah, not really. I wouldn't wanna ruin your laptop. Some other time"I joked and winked at her."Besides, it seems extremely annoying. No offence, really."

"No, no," I giggled. "Everybody thought this game was annoying." i said, grinning. I put a cookie stick into the Nutella and bit into it. Delicious as Nutella always is. But then some Nutella fell off and onto the keyboard. I squealed and quickly wiped it off before it could break my precious laptop. "No!" I practically scolded the Nutella.

I couldn't help it as I burst out laughing at her actions."Y-you're hilarious"I managed to say when I was finally able to breathe again

"Hey, I got nutella on my laptop! What else would I have done?" I said, slightly irritated but happy I made Marcus laugh.

I chuckled and ruffled her hair, giving her a grin."You're adorable"I stated
