anouk aadland || sixteen || son of aetna

Name: anouk "nouk" nalund aadland. (ah-nooohk)
Age: he's sixteen, born on halloween.
Gender: he's male.
Sexuality: he doesn't really know? like he knows he kinda likes boys but at the same time he craves for a girlfriend. but he doesn't want to say he's bi, since his preferences change. for the time being he goes by pansexual. why not?
Eyes: his eyes are a really light grey.
Hair: his hair is the funniest part about him. whilst he really doesn't know why he keeps it like that, it's very, very unruly. it's fairly long and goes down to about the beginning of his neck, but he'll cut it if he needs to. if he does that, however, it becomes unnaturally curly and springy. some peeps call him 'fuzmon' around camp. nouk doesn't know what exactly to think of that.
Height: he's actually kinda short, at five foot six. there's some girls that are way taller than him. nouk finds that only slightly
intimidating.
Body Type: fit, lean and athletic. not your typical bodybuilder or anything kai's seen from around the aphro guys. (his nickname for the aphrodite kids, btw. c;) he's got strong, runner legs that push him forwards quickly.
Skin Color: light brush of a tan.
God Parent: antheia, goddess of flowers and flowery wreaths.
Mortal Parent: norman aadland. later married to hazel green.
Country of Origin: he's travelled all over. his heritage would be something more northern-european, maybe norway or finnland. his pappa (norwegian for 'dad' or 'daddy') told him he was born in germany. but they moved to norway straight after that.
Pets: he's got a few pets, actually. he's got an old tom named ginger, with bright green eyes, a small pomsky (pomerian+husky mix) named winter and a red and green coloured parrot named bubba. don't ask about the name. 'bubbs' sits around on his shoulder all day.
Talents:
+ he's an amazing climber. he can scuttle up trees in a matter of seconds. no. really.
+ he's loved skateboarding since he was six. he hasn't had much time to practice it, but his ollies aren't bad. he's devoting some more time to it. now he's taken a peculiar intrest in lonboarding.
+ sports. he's a soccer ace.
+ playing the guitar; he's amazing. give him a song, and he'll figure it out shortly.
Weapon**: he's got a flame-coloured war axe named hellfire. it turns into a blue snapback hat. he's also got a spartan shield made of cb, like the axe. the shield turns into a black and gold g-shock wristwatch.
Personality: anouk isn't very nice unless you like what he likes. he can be a bit arrogant, but at the same time he's quite shy and drawn back. he doesn't like going into the thick of things, but if it's about girls, say, then he'll be well in there. he doesn't really know what to do around girls, but he's got a fair idea. anouk cares about nature, and could be considered a hippie at times. you can see him running around barefoot with a guitar in hand and a flower crown on his head most of the time. he can be a bit sarcastic at times, but he doesn't want to offend people by doing so. he's a pacifist, and doesn't think much of war, yet he doesn't approve of noisy protests in the streets, either. he likes soft music (like mozart or beethoven, maybe some pop) and he'll not think much of you if you blast heavy metal around him. just don't do it.
Flaws:
+ antisocial, with a hint of arrogance at times.
+ fear of the dark.
+ a bit greedy when it comes to food. he loves food, yet he's as skinny as a bean.
+ fear of large snakes. (or any type of snake, for that matter.)
Abilities (must relate to god parent; optional):
+ plant talk; (dunno if this would be allowed, but i think it may have been approved before. again, i dunno.) anouk can talk to plant life., and talk to the plant/tree/bush for around twenty minutes at maximum. he can do this as often as he likes, but he needs to wait for about an hour before he can talk to more botanical life. he needs to be in a twenty-foot radius to talk to one. they say simple things like 'hello, demigod friend!' or 'how are you' and stuff like that. nothing special. anouk can ask them for simple directions, too.
+ flower crowns; anouk can braid a flower crown in super-speed. he can have one done in about ten to twenty seconds. he can make around ten flower wreathes a day.
Powers (must relate to god parent; optional):
+ plant growth; anouk can make flowers or small berry bushes grow. the biggest thing he could grow is a 2x1 metre sized bush carrying around thirty berries of his choice. he can grow three things a day, with two hours cooldown.
Life Before Camp*: anouk was born in germany. he doesn't know where, as his father never mentioned it. he assumes it was munich, maybe somewhere more south of germany. he lived there for about two weeks before moving on to norway. his father kept quite a few secrets from him. he loved his father nonetheless, even after they had a fight about where to send him to highschool after finishing middleschool in norway. they decided to go to america, where they put him in a local highschool near camphalfblood. (coincedence.) a satyr found him and brought him to camp shortly after his 14th birthday.
RP Example*: anouk smiles as he carries on humming along to his tune. he was playing something by the beatles, as he really likes that band. a whole lot. his guitar was quite and old one, a simple design. anouk had painted it a matte black some time ago. he was sitting barefoot on the steps of the amphitheatre, strumming his guitar. he was shirtless today; he feels so much more free like that. but he wore tank tops alot too, really. his smile was flashes in the sun, pearly whites clean and brushed as usual. some people tell anouk that he smells like flowers... anouk doesn't know why he just thought of that. he frowns, but carries on playing happily.
