Edward Pearce stepped out of the back of a black mortal cab car. The two old hags that ran the "Grey Sisters' Taxi" didn't have the proper handle on the safe driving concept. Instead when it came to transportation, Edward almost always choose mortal options. His favorite being "Uber" a taxi service known for it's luxury. Edward had used it multiple times, plus it was untraceable, no receipts, cash only. This made Edward even more enticed to use it because it suited most of his needs. Anyways he got dropped off in time square in NYC. It wasn't where he was meant to meet Lee, however Edward wanted to warm up before he met the daughter of Hermes. Edward was wearing sweatpants and white tee shirt. He had on his back pack with necessary equipment he might need. A generic hand gun, picked up at a Walmart (where shopping is a pleasure (or is that Publix)), his phantom blade used against any monsters he might encountered even tho that rarely happened because he was a son a minor deity, and duct tape. Always have duct tape.

    Always.

Edward popped in his ear buds, turning on the song You need me, I don't need you, as he walked towards an ally way. It was dark and no one could see the Assassin dash towards a wall of a building, taking two large steps up the wall. Then he used his kicked off the wall and twist his body around, as he outstretched his arms. He hands connected with the fire escape which was originally too high to reach from the ground. Edward nimbly started to climb up the fire escape and once he reached the top he preformed another wall jump to reach the building opposite of him.

    Excellent.

Edward walked to the edge of the building looking down on the population bellow. They all seemed so tiny, insignificant. Too deep. Edward wasn't one for philosophy, although he had started to look inward ever since what happened to his sister. He took a step away from the ledge and took a deep breath, closing his eyes taking in all the noises the city had to offer. He smiled as he turned around and started to jog east, towards the build Lee and him had decided on meeting at. The song intensified and the jog turned into a hastened run. A gap between two building was fast approaching, and Edward kicked it into overdrive. His armed pumped as he put a little more energy into each step in comparison to the last. When he reached the edge of the first building he kicked off, making the gap no problem.

He smiled, once again knowing what it felt like to be alive.

The altitude played in Lee's veins like ice cubes in a cocktail: tinkling cold and deliciously refreshing. Gusts of wind from the bay swept through her messy hair, her top flickered around her bust and her fingers were numb from gripping the holds, but she wasn't giving up. Part because it was way too fun and part because giving up meant death from this spot. She was high enough to go splat on the pavement if she happened to slip and let go.
Which probably would've happened by now if she lacked the experience she had.
A couple of moments later, she grabbed hold of the roof edge and heaved herself up onto it in a rolling motion, standing back on her feet. Her fingers, legs and arms ached, she had broken yet another nail. Sweat beaded her forehead. She felt great.

Now she just had to find Edward. Eddie. Eddiewiddie. Ah, she loved giving people nicknames in her head.

She knew the frequency pattern of Edward's phone so tracing it wasn't a problem. Remaining on the rooftops, she jumped across the gaps pretending to be Spiderman while keeping her gaze straight ahead, her thoughts focused on his phone. He wasn't that far actually.
The roofs and streets blurred under her as she ran and climbed and leaped, the lights of New York covering the buildings in bright neon squares. Adrenaline gushed into her veins, making her muscles tingle. Finally she skidded into a halt on a rooftop, gravel crunching under her sneakers.

"Yo, Cullen!" She called at the figure -- he was her only friend called Edward so of course she teased him with Twilight . The daughter of Hermes was wearing a pair of old denims from the camp store and a loose Avengers tank top, which shivered in the fresh night breeze. That didn't bother Lee though. She still felt scorching and sweaty from her run, and she knew she'd resume it with Edward. "Sup man?" Lee asked raising her hand for a clasp-handshake-thing.
