    if there's anything jodi has learned from the trip to camp jupiter, it's that romans are weird and they must have insane self restraint to keep from ditching...whatever it is they have to do and sitting at the coffee house all day, sipping a frappuccino and enjoying a pastry.

    she's been sitting here for about an hour, shades down over her eyes, headphones in, enjoying the warmth. it's not like jodi's had a sudden change of heart and suddenly embraced the great outdoors, and more like she hasn't been outdoors in a civilized, vaguely city-ish area since going to camp half blood. she's fairly certain this is what withdrawal feels like.

    Now that the weather was heating up, Jaci had decided to for once not to stay cooped up in her barrack for most of the day until Jena or Kit would drag her out. So she took a little walk around New Rome, her sunglasses on and her earphones plugged in on full blast. No, she didn't care if her eardrums burst, for she's gone her entire life with music on full blast.

    There was actually a lot of people in New Rome today and it actually made her feel a little claustrophobic with everyone around her. The only secluded place is over by a bench, which even had someone sitting on it. Oh well, lonely enough. So she just sat down and started to play Crossy Road, completely ignoring the other girl sitting next to her.
