Hiromi, son of Hermes Empty Hiromi, son of Hermes

Post by Mason 6/20/2015, 10:47 am

    Spoiler:

    Name: Hiromi Gorean
    Age: 15
    Gender: Male
    Eyes: Brown
    Hair: Black, greasy, messy
    Height: 5'9"
Body Type: Skinny, barely any muscle
    Skin Color: Pale white
    God Parent: Hermes
    Mortal Parent: Sunny Gorean
Country of Origin: Japan, until he was four and he moved to America
Pets: N/A (used to have a hamster, it died)
    Talents:
    -School
    -Reading
    -Writing
    -Video games
Weapon**: CB dagger from the Weapon Shed
Personality: Hiromi is an extremely kind, nerdy, geeky boy. He is extremely intelligent, and has an IQ of 157, and is still learning more, very interested in getting more knowledge. One of his goals is to know everything there is to know, which is impossible, but he's trying, anyway. Hiromi very much likes school, opposed to some of his peers. He is not very popular, but has a lot of friends and is really helpful. He is a quiet boy, and Hiromi almost never gets in trouble, and he is not rebellious at all. Hiromi, however, is extremely grumpy before 8 AM, and arrogant when it comes to intelligent rivals. Hiromi is as athletic as a fruitcake, but he also started a new routine when he runs in the afternoons, so maybe that will change. Overall, Hiromi is a fun-loving, kind, and intelligent guy.
    Flaws:
-Grumpy in the mornings before 8 AM
    -Not athletic at all
-Arrogant when it comes to intelligent rivals
    -Terrified of heights
Abilities (must relate to god parent; optional):
-He can hack a computer through any computer he has available and has a photographic memory of it.
-Hiromi gets a speed boost of 10% when running, which is about equalivent to him running a mile in 5 minutes and 40ish seconds.
-He can tell where the border for everything is (state, country, etc.)
-He can talk to tortoises, snakes, and roosters.
-Hiromi can open any key-lock he touches- he cannot do this with digital or highly complicated locks, at least, as an ability.
Powers (must relate to god parent; optional):
-Hiromi can open a digital lock/pad lock/highly complicated lock by touching it. It takes two posts and has a five post cooldown.
Life Before Camp*: Hiromi and his mother lived in Japan for the first four years of his life, until they moved to America for his mom to get a new job. For the first few years of school, Hiromi had to be taught English by a teacher (current day, he speaks English completely fluently, but only knows a few things in Japanese). He wasn't very popular in school, and spent a lot of his time focusing on learning instead of making friends. When he turned nine, an empousai attempted to attack him, but a satyr saved him. It turns out his mother knew about him being a demigod from a latter sent when he was two days old. The satyr took him to CHB. It took him three years, until he was 12, until he was finally claimed, but it's not like he had to move cabins, he was in the Hermes anyway unclaimed. Hiromi loves camp, but fails at athletic training.
    RP Example*:-
Any notes about your characters: FC is Ryan Higa, aka the Youtuber nigahiga

"-Hiromi can hack into any computer in the world except for government/highly protected computers. He basically reads the information from the computer in his mind, and can search through files and such. He must be physically touching it."

That would be a Hephaestus gift, not a Hermes. Same with computer memory.

Hermes animals, I thought were only tortoises, snakes and rams. Can you provide support to roosters?

A helpful comment towards the hacking thing. Take out the part where he "touches the computer and reads the info in his head" and make it more towards Hermes's thieving sphere by saying he can hack a computer, the real life way and then has a photographic memory of it, kinda like the Mind Palace gimmick from the BBC Sherlock series.

Not to sound ditsy, but I'm not sure what either of you are asking me xD Change the phone thing to be like the computer thing, Dylan? And are you asking what I mean by that, Morgan? If so, a highly complicated lock would be like a lock on a government thing.

The ability for reading everything on the phone is written like you just pick it up and without even unlocking it you can read everything. You have to change that to where you actually have to unlock the phone to read everything. Which at that point it's not much of an ability
