Lizzie shook her head it wasn't what she wanted to order, she opened her mouth as if to say something, perhaps to voice some objection to his suggestion. However predictably she made no sound so closed her mouth again.

Re: Local Library (private Lindsey)
Constantine saw her open her mouth. "Hey, no need to be nervous, I'd like to be your friend." It was true, like everything he said- although Bri didn't know, and he assumed Lizzie didn't know that he couldn't physically tell a lie. He admittedly found Lizzie attractive, but he wasn't going to like flirt with her or anything if she had a boyfriend, the Greek dude. Well, apparently they weren't dating or anything, but, like, rumors were rumors. So he decided to ask it somewhat subtly. "Bri, can you go away and go order us a pizza or do something productive," he said, handing her the money.
"You're such a-"
"Eh."
Bri growled, going to order.
"So like, Lizzie, do you like, want to hang out Saturday or something?"
ooc: conflict! xD

Re: Local Library (private Lindsey)
Lizzie shrugged it happened to be more than nervousness, she had not really encountered a boy of her age till she headed to her second high school. As her first high school happened to be a girls' only. "I..." Lizzie stopped when Bri walked away.
Lizzie felt her heart stop when Constantine asked her a rather surprising question. It caught her completely off guard, Lizzie was so startled she forgot how to respond.
She shrugged after a while, Lizzie did not mind if they hung out after all they would only be friends? Right?
Lizzie knew the boy she loved or extremely liked, he was Greek. "J..." She wanted to say just so long as they were friends, since she possessed feelings for another boy, he could however be friends with her.

Re: Local Library (private Lindsey)
"What's up? Did I catch you off guard? Oh, great, I've done it gain, scared another girl away. Or are you rejecting me? Because I'm used to that, too. I just, like...eh, forget it." He liked a lot of girls he encountered, yet he always found a way to be rejected. Which was ridiculously ridiculous. "Just interested in getting to know you a little, you know? Don't consider it a date. Well, actually, it was intended to be a date, but it doesn't have to just be us two."
Bri came back. "I ordered the pizza." Constantine had shot her a look, scared. "What, were you two in the middle of something?" She sat down at a nearby booth table.

"No." Lizzie replied to Bri, before looking around hastily. "I have to go." She left the mess hall swiftly, rushing in her haste to get out.

Re: Local Library (private Lindsey)
Bri looked at Constantine. "What did you do?"
"I..well...she's pretty and you said she wasn't dating that Greek boy so I asked her out."
"Wha- are you desperate or stupid? Or c, all of the above?"
"I- I'm sorry. I honestly am," all though he had no choice but honesty, "uh, bye, keep the pizza and the change." Constantine left in a somewhat sad nature.
Bri felt sort of bad, but he was an idiot, so she rolled her eyes and moved on, going to look for her friend. "Lizzz!" she called.

Re: Local Library (private Lindsey)
Lizzie had managed to seat herself up a branch near some fancy Roman fountain. She tried not to cry, Lizzie wasn't used to people especially the boys being so direct. Her fleeing happened to be because she felt too much pressure. Lizzie tried not to cry, the daughter of Stimula happened to feel terrible about this, yet there was little she could do.

Re: Local Library (private Lindsey)
Bri went up to Lizzie, when she spotted her by the fountain. "Liz, don't be upset...or pressured, Constantine told me what happened and I insulted him. I think he was messing with you. Or maybe he's that dumb. We got a basically free pizza being made in that mess hall, let's go eat it, c'mon." Bri pointed towards the Mess Hall.

Re: Local Library (private Lindsey)
Lizzie looked down at the friend from her perch in a tree. "I do." She admitted, agreeing to both of the things Bri just told her not to be. "I don't know... It was too much he wanted to hang out just me and him and... I don't know if I can." Lizzie never hung out alone with one Roman male, normally it was Bri, several girls and a few boys. The latter she normally hid from by hiding with Bri and her other friends.

"Lizzie, it's cool. He's an idiot and I despise him, but if he wants to hang out with you, and you think it's okay, then why not? Is it that dang Greek boy again? Or is it the Stimula shyness thing? Come down from there and come get the pizza with me," Bri said in a motherly way, but not friendly, like a command. "We can get that Mousakka or whatever, too, just, c'mon! Constantine left, it's not like you have to be pressured or bothered!"

Re: Local Library (private Lindsey)
"Mixture of things really Bri." Lizzie answered quietly. "I'm shy and not used to hanging out with boys alone." Well there was that one time she met Romulus but he seemed pretty cool and more tried to understand why she found it so difficult than trying to get her to talk.
After a few moments, Lizzie slowly began to climb down the tree, jumping off at the last branch and landing lightly on her feet like an agile feline. "Okay... I just hope he isn't too hurt but..." Lizzie trailed off, Bri understood how she was so there really wasn't much need to explain it to her.

Re: Local Library (private Lindsey)
Bri nodded, understanding pretty much everything. She didn't say anything, not wanting to be harsh on Lizzie, so she waited until she climbed down, then went back into the mes hall. "Lizzie, he's not hurt. Constantine basically gets rejected by every girl. I wouldn't feel bad. He asked me out once, actually. So I kicked him in the...hey the pizza's ready." Just on time, Bri thought, grabbing the pizza box and opening it. She got a plate, sitting down, taking a piece and eating it.

Re: Local Library (private Lindsey)
Lizzie listened silently to Bri as she talked before seating on the other side of the table facing her friend, "Yes... Well it must be difficult on him." She did feel a bit bad for running away but it was all a bit too much for her to take in. If say Bri or some of her other friends had been there or perhaps would be coming she would not have bolted. She took a slice of pizza, taking a lady size bite from it.

"You're lucky he didn't do that truth power thing on you." Bri laughed, continuing to eat her pizza. "So, what next to talk about...um, did you want that Mousakka stuff? What type of food is it even?"

Re: Local Library (private Lindsey)
"Gods no he wouldn't do that to me!" Lizzie exclaimed her cheeks turning bright red. She took another small bite of pizza chewing it over whilst she considered Bri's question. "It is Greek." She admitted quietly. "Erm... So you were saying you were thinking about joining the hunters?" She added deciding to direct the flow of questions away from her or her rather confusing romantic life.

Re: Local Library (private Lindsey)
"Greek..there's that again. Greek." Bri wondered at times if things were better when the Greeks and Romans didn't know of each other's existence. Maybe there would be some sanity and order then. Now people were coming from the other camp to CJ, and vise versa. And then Greeks would live in New Rome. She hated all of this; nothing against the Greeks, necessarily, she just felt that they had a negative impact on the Romans.
"Yeah, I was thinking about joining the Hunters. Besides that, there's really nothing to talk about. Unless you're caught up on Greek Guy or Constantine, you should join, too. It'd be a great oppurtunity. Think about the excitement and the rush of being a Hunter!" She exclaimed. She wanted to avoid the topic of her leaving and Lizzie staying. Bri didn't want to abandon her best friend, among other friends, but it had to be that way.

"Maybe." Lizzie commented with a shrug before taking another bite of the pizza. "If it messes up maybe we could go together if it doesn't last." She didn't really want to think too much about losing her best friend because she wanted to become a Hunter and she didn't.
"I'm glad your my best friend I'd be a bit lost with the boys without you." She smiled at her kindly.

Re: Local Library (private Lindsey)
Bri laughed a little. "Anytime. You've done well, padwan," Bri said in a dark voice. "But chances are me leaving to be a Hunter won't be for a while. However, I will be leaving the weekend after the following to visit my mother back in ol' Chicago." She felt the need to tell Lizzie that, although it didn't matter all that much.

Re: Local Library (private Lindsey)
"I'll try to hold the fort whilst you are gone." She began to think about which friends she might hang out with whilst her Bri was away. Probably Chels and Monica. They were alright if they were a little bit different. However, Lizzie could not talk about being a little bit different.
