A sigh escaped Colin Reece's lips as he stared at the wooden ceiling of the Hestia cabin. It was unusually warm, something he wasn't used to. He was used to cold and wet, living on the Olympic Peninsula clear across the country. Warm and dry, something a child of Hestia should be used to, wasn't something he was accustomed.
With another sigh, Colin threw his baseball up and caught it deftly. He was incredibly bored, just laying around, but he couldn't think of anything else to do. His training for the day was already finished, all there was to do was wait until dinner so he could eat. Maybe if he could find his mom tending the fires around camp he might talk to her, but he just couldn't muster the energy to get out of bed.
He threw his baseball up again, higher than last time, and caught it. Colin lifted his head and thumped it against his pillow.
