Weaker winds: For her to summon the light breeze, just enough to blow a leaf (half a mile per hour to 50 MPH), the cooldown would be five posts. Elaine can hold a light breeze for up to five posts. Elaine can put one out within a 20 foot radius going out. Each 20 foot radius after that would decrese by one MPH.
Strong wind: If she were to try a very powerful gust (51-100 MPH), the cool down she must wait between uses is fifteen posts. She can hold her stronger winds for one post. For a strong push it's a 10 foot radius going out, for every ten foot radius going out it would decrese by 20 MPH.
Depending on the strength the temperature would vary. It's all the same temperature (30 degrees fahrenheit), but the stronger it is the colder it feels.
Social Status: She couldn’t be fitted into the right category by anyone around her, as she always moves. People might consider her the cool mysterious girl or a freak.
Summer or Year Round: A year rounder

Life Before Camp:
Elaine was born in Seattle Washington, Her mother Natalie moved out to a suburb in the hopes to have peace, and be able to study while she tried to finish her major. Because they lived in the suburb and her mom was very busy Elaine didn’t have very many friends, and spent most of her time outside even in the freezing weathers, against her mother's wishes. After her mom finished her major she moved to Houston Texas for a promising job opportunity, Writing a book on how viruses travel through air.
Elaine was put in daycare up until she went to kindergarten, and started school. She was bright and very intelligent, but found it hard to focus in class. Up until fourth grade, Elaine was a social butterfly, talking to anyone who would listen and being friends with anyone. She began to clam up though once some of her “friends” began making fun of her for her weight. She began to isolate herself and push away people. The only friend that stuck with her was a girl her age named Paisley that she met back in first grade.
Before middle school, sixth grade, Elaine began to see traces of weird things. In Texas it was either horribly hot or awfully cold, and there was never any wind. Not even a slight breeze, or a bitter bite. So one day she was in the back yard wishing for a slight breeze to cool her off. and out of nowhere one came. The next day a new teacher arrived, Elaine told her mom about his sharp teeth, and two days later Elaine and her mom were gone to Cleveland, Ohio.
This pattern continued Elaine and her mom always moving. One crappy pay by month apartment after another. Elaine’s mom always claimed it was for her work. So she could study how viruses fly through the air, and continue on a book she was writing. but Elaine never saw the sense in that explanation. She could tell something was off. Picking up and moving wasn't easy. Natalie was secure in her job so long as she entered a new chapter every month on her book, but it was a small paycheck from just the book. Natalie had to pick up odd jobs here and there, when things were tough. With every move Elaine saw her mom less and less.
When Elaine turned fourteen while they were on the road, moving to their next home, Los Angeles. At this point Elaine’s only friend was her mom, and even then she had grown distant. She was tired of moving. Her mom had promised that the last place, Corn Creek ,Nevada, would be the last place. but they had left.
After two weeks in Los Angeles Natalie was stuck in a house fire and died. Elaine came home to her newest home in flames, and fire trucks out front. The authorities said it was from the oven. Elaine knew that her mom had tried to make her a birthday cake to celebrate her birthday a little late to try to cheer her up. When the fire died, she found out her mother hadn’t made it.
The police had taken her to the station, to try to sort things out. By the time she got there she had made up her mind. She was going to run. She requested to go to the bathroom, a guard escorted her. Elaine tried to convince them she would be okay, but with every word she ensured a guard was going with her. The bathroom in the newly renovated basement, where construction was still going on. It was one room, the guard had to stand outside the door.
There was a long but thin window high up next to the cealing. Elaine having two meals a day and walking every where was pretty thin, but she did have some curves, so it would be a tight squeeze. She also had to figure out how to get up, and quick. The guard would get suspicious. She had her sling bag, which she had been given back by convincing a female guard she needed it for lady pourposes. All she had in there was $100 from her mom, a few protein bars, pads, and a sewing kit. She did have a paracord bracelet, which she thought she would never use.
She had eight feet of paracord. She tied a scew she found under the sink to act as a weight. After several tries she managed to get it hooked on the latch. It would either help her escape or break, and she would fall. The guard knocked on the door. Elaine knew she was out of time, so she slung her backpack across her back and began the climb, the cord was hanging about two feet off the ground, because she tied little loops to act as footholds.
All her hours at the school gym climbing that rope, and hours of survival shows shes watched would pay off. she could easily jump down by the time she reached the window. The guard knocked again. there was about a foot of ledge she crawled onto, half of her body hanging dangerously off. she flipped the latch on the window and began to pull.
After a minuite of strenuous pulling, and almost falling several times, she pulled open the window with a loud creak. The gaurds voice yelled from outside, he tried the door, which was stuck from Elaine sliding the trashcan under the door nob. she unhooked her paracord, she would have to rewrap it later, and pulled the window the rest of the way open. She went feet first out her upper half hanging over her toes holding her up. She was up to her shoulders when The door swung open. with one last push she got herself out pulled up. She was in an alley, the offices had been underground, and the window led right to the streets. Elaine didn’t have any time to see where she was, she ran.
She was confused, lonely, and lost. All she had was the backpack on her back. She hitchhiked, walked, rode the bus, and in the end stole a bike to get back to the only place that ever felt like home, Houston.
It was a dangerous process and she was almost brought back into custody, and she had to bite a police officer to escape. Some of the people she hitchhiked with seemed really sketchy, and she often sneaked off at gas stations. By the end it was really hard to not look suspicious, after weeks of not showering. She had to wash off as best she could in public bathrooms, before going into any public place.
When she arrived in Houston she didn’t know what to do. She was only twelve had spent weeks running and was now alone in the world with no purpose. The first night she spent in a park, where she found a cat she named Natalie.
She decided she needed to get help, running had been a bad idea. She went to Paisley's house who luckily hadn’t moved. Paisley didn’t recognize Elaine at first, and her parents weren’t going to help, but Elaine still had a locket from long ago. They let her come in and take a shower, they gave her a fresh pair of clothes, one item being a black hoodie which she took a liking too. While they gave her some food, Paisleys dad said they needed to make a phone call. Elaine knew they were calling the police. She regrettably stole twenty dollars from them before running again.
She had made it to Dallas, when she was attacked by a hellhound. It was huge. She was backed up in an alley nowhere to run. Accepting her fate Elaine stood her ground, willing to fight. She didn’t have too though as a satyr escorting another demigod dived in to save her. He managed to distract the hell hound while she ran. He scaled the stone wall that had been blocking her path, then circled around to meet them. He told her that she was a demigod and there was a place she would be safe called Camp Half-Blood.
Elaine though he was crazy, but after the hellhound her mom always moving it made a little sense. She assumed whoever her dad was must have told her. So she went with them. Along the way she decided to drop Natalie at an animal shelter, as she didn't know if she would be allowed at camp. The first night at Camp Half-blood was the first time Elaine had cried since before her mom's death, and it was her last for a very long time.
Role-playing Example:
Elaine clutched her hoodie too her body ready to jump. She looked at the long drop in front of her, and then at her destination across the pit. If she fell she knew it meant death. Elaine let the wind rush through her lungs and leapt. As her feet touched the ground Elaine let out a cry of relief. She tumbled to the ground. Her legs shaking from the adrenaline, but she couldn't stop.
She pushed herself off the ground, moving her eyes behind her. Elaine couldn't see them, but she could hear them. Trampling through the trees, shouting at each other. She ran forward into the tall grasses. Unsheathing one of her swords she began cutting down the grass in front of her. They were at the pit shouting at each other on who should go first. All that mattered now was that Elaine put as much distance between them.
