Weapon**: A 7 inch Imperial Gold Pugio with a daisy emblem engraved on the hilt.
Personality: Hanako is a kind girl who loves to meet new people and make them feel wonderful about themselves. She knows how to make friends easily, and is very energetic and fun-loving. But she can be naive at times, a probable result from her father's overprotective attitude. This causes the young girl to be easily tricked or misguided. And she trusts people way to easily.
However, don't think she's just a fragile little flower. She's in the Legion for a reason. When angered, she tends to snap at people and act rashly. You better hope you don't end up in the wrong side of her Pugio. She also has a tendency to pry into other people's business. While she sees it as being caring and friendly, it can be easily taken as being rude and nosy,

-Meadows/Gardens: She feels more at home in gardens and meadows, especially if they have lots of flowers. She feels about 25% more energized when in these places.
-Flowers: She can automatically tell what a flower's needs are, whether it needs more water or sunlight. She can also tell the scientific name of any flower presented to her.
Powers:
-Anthokinesis/Flower Manipulation: While she can't manipulate all plants like the Ceres kids, she does have some form of control over flowers. Hanako can manipulate flowers for two posts, but needs four posts to cool down.
Life Before Camp*: Hanako was born in Kyoto, Japan to Keisuke Arishima and an unknown mother. Her father worked as a botanist, but spent most of his time studying various flowers around the world. When she was two, her father received a great job opportunity in Canada, and quickly moves them to Edmonton, Alberta.
She learned to love her new city, most people were friendly and it was so beautiful there. But she never got much of a chance to see it. Her father insisted that she always stay close, and that she never went anywhere by herself. He never told Hanako why, his reasoning was always that it was "too dangerous."
Hanako never really knew what "dangerous" meant, but she decided it was for the best to not defy her father's wishes. But it was harder and harder to keep her close as the years went by. Keisuke's work always got in the way, and it resulted in Hanako being sent to a private academy near their home. But this was probably a mistake as she was attacked by a harpy who was masquerading as a janitor at the school. She didn't die or was injured, but it was enough to send the girl running home in a panic.
She immediately told her dad, who then explained everything. Who her mother was, who she was. A demigod. Her mother was an ancient Roman goddess apparently. And monsters form the ancient "myths" liked to eat demigods. He then told her to back a bag, and await for the wolves. She did as she was told.
The wolves didn't show up for two days. Hanako waited anxiously. She was afraid of more monsters coming to kill her, but luckily, none came. A scratchimg at the door alerted the young girl, and she then followed the wolves to meet Lupa. The mother wolf.
To her surprise, Lupa deemed her worthy, and began training her. Hanako though she was going to be eaten for sure. After completing her training, she made her way to Camp Jupiter. Ready for a new life.
RP Example*: Hanako scratched at her tattoo on her forearm. A dash underneath her mother's symbol meant she had served a full year in the Legion. How she did was a surprise to herself. Her mother wasn't exactly a powerful goddess. She didn't have the fighting skills as the Mars kids, or the plant skills like the Ceres kids. She was this tiny Japanese girl armed with a dagger. She chuckled softly to herself. The Hanako she knew a year ago wouldn't imagine herself as a demigod. Fighting monsters, and serving in a harsh and strict legion. The Hanako she knew would come home from a long day of school to an empty house. She would garden for a bit, and attempt to read a book afterwards. Her dyslexia made it hard, but she attempted. But she knew that Hanako was gone. Her old world was shattered, and she had to rebuild a new one.
"Here's to another year..." She muttered to herself.
