Personality: This Upper East Sider is a born and bred glamazon. She appears to have no insecurities about her body whatsoever and regularly flaunts her curves in bikinis and designer clothes. She is a lively and cheerful individual with a taste for parties. Other character traits include: daring, stubborn, outspoken, helpful, sociable, and compassionate.

Life Before Camp*:
- Phoebe grew up on the Upper East Side with her mother, the rich CEO of a worldwide cosmetics company.
- Being the daughter of Aphrodite, she lacks the powerful aura of other demigods and wasn't attacked by monsters (see Lightning Thief, where Annabeth says Aphrodite children generally don't attract monster attention).
- She spent her life in the glitz and glam of wealthy Manhattan, spending her days with other rich kids and/or socialites.
- She quickly became popular in her circles. Her friends would come to her for advice on love, make-up, fashion, jewelry, you name it -- she was always happy to help. Her energy and bubbly humour attracted people, and so did her looks. Although everyone said she'd look even better if she lost some weight.
- Phoebe had always been the largest child in her class. Despite being liked by everyone, her weight was the butt of most jokes. 
- Her mother put her on countless diets, taped her to the treadmill, hired coaches, even made her lift weights. Nothing changed. 
- She suffered a lot because of this. But thanks to the encouragement of her grandmother, she was determined to feel good about herself, gradually came to terms with her size and overcame her insecurities one by one.
- She was found by a satyr by accident. He had been placed in her school to find a child of Athena, and ended up with two demigods ready for camp.
- She has been at camp only for a year, so hasn't participated in the Titan war. (She was in Fiji during the battle of Manhattan.)
