Theo was sitting in the Great Room, cuddling Khufu while catching up on Game of Thrones. The movie was playing on the huge flat screen TV above the fireplace, and the quality was really something else than on her laptop.
She had a large bowl of nachos in front of her and Khufu kept spilling crumbs all over her clothes. But she liked him too much to reprimand him -- she had a soft spot for the baboon.
Suddenly the large doors swung open, giving them a glimpse of the storm raging over New York City. Lightning and rain whirled around in the midnight sky, howling in a chaotic mess that wouldve probably made Set very happy. But then she caught sight of the boy standing in the doorway and immediately reached for her staff.
"Agh!" Khufu barked. She shushed him.
His hair was dyed blonde and styled like a wave. His smooth skin looked spotless, as if the concept of acne had never applied to him. Even though he was drenched in rain and his shoes made a wet flack-flack sound with every step, he somehow still managed to look stylish. Like a fashion model after a hurricane.
She jumped up, holding her staff in a position of defense. "Who're you?"
