The hellhound roared as the arrows pierced its arms and legs, but they weren't high enough to pierce anything vital to it. It turned straight to Kendra and leaped towards her, claws out and roared.
I grinned slightly, watching the kids. They were good... but probably gonna get mauled.

Jake and Kendra's jabs missed, though Richard's sword managed to scrape the bottom of the hellhound's stomach; Jake's lightning passed by the hellhound's back, making its hair stand up on end. It landed just short of Elly, and turned to Kendra, swiping its paw at her.
