I walk into the stables with two carrots in my hand. I quietly walk towards my peguas, Star. She neighs happily at the sight of me. I give her the carrots and starts stroking her head softly. I put a saddle on her and starts riding all around camp smiling. We come back down 30 minutes later. I get off give her a sugar cube and leave back to my cabin.

Polux bucked and I almost flew off of hisback. "Get ahold of yourself, man!" I yelled at him, dangling from a stirrup. I pulled myself up and tried to righten my horse. We were not gonna die today.

I pulled on the reins one last time and Polux landed with a thud. We both rolled a bit, Polux over Demetri, then skidded to a stop. "AAAGGGHHHH!!!!" I screamed in pain and grabbed my bad leg. Polux looked conserned at me on the ground.
