"A day or two??" I say to her, "How far is this exactly? I'm not good with states, but I know it can't be that far, it's only half the US away, and half the US would be about the equivilant of Tennessee to Florida, and driving it only takes 14 hours to get to Florida from Tennessee and the same back."

"Exactly. It also only takes about....24 hours, approximately, to get from North Carolina to California, thats just an estimate, but it's most likely pretty close. I don't think there is anywhere in the us that takes a couple of days to get to with non-stop driving, and I'm not stoping."
