I walk in with Lex and lay her on her bunk softly. I kiss her forhead as she stirs, "I'll be back..." I whisper and change, then leave.

I walk in slowly and go to Lex, "Hey..." I whisper.
"Hey Alex...I hurt...what happened?"
"I dunno...but you'll get better. I promise. Just rest, okay?"
I nod best I can, "Okay...don't leave me all alone all the time though...please...?"
I kiss her forhead, "Promise."
"Thanks...' I say, closing my eyes.
I smiel softly and leave.
"Hey Alex...I hurt...what happened?"
"I dunno...but you'll get better. I promise. Just rest, okay?"

I walk in and see Lexi sitting up, "What are you doing?"
"I wanna walk and go outside...help me.."
I go to her quickly and hep her stand. I help her get steady on her feet and after a while she's walking. Wobbly, but walking.
I can take it from here..."
"Okay..." I leave with her then we go our seperate ways.

I walk in and fall on my bed, curling under Malia's blanket. I fall asleep almost the second my head hits the pillow.

He grins at her, "I'm glad...that bunk's mine...that one's Lexi's...pick whichever you like..." he says, walking over and smoothing the older blankets on his bed that he had brought with him...there's something on Malia's mind, he can tell, but he's sure she'll tell him if she wants to.

Malia took off her shoes, then began to take off her jacket. She changed her mind quickly and put it back on, zipping it up all the way.

"The blankets are really warm, Malia...you don't ahve to keep your jacket on," he whispered as if it was a secret, finding her behavior odd.

I pull the covers up for her and smile, "Sleep well, Malia..." he whispers, then takes a big chance and kisses her forehead softly before hustling away to Alexi's bed.

Malia's eyes drew heavy as she tried to sleep. She laid there in bed trying to sleep, but she just couldn't.

Alex sat on his sisters bed and watched as Malia struggled to rest, then turned away to watch the door for any bogeys that tried to get in just as he had promised.

Hearing a soft whimper, Alex resisted the urge to turn and go to her, but he decided she would probably hurt him if he did...But he decided he would go to her if they continued.

Standing with a sigh, Alex grabbed a near by chair and drug it over to Malia, and spun it to face her. Sitting down in it quietly, he put a hand on her shoulders.
