i look back at the guy wishing it was my guy. when i see him keep walking i sigh. the lights glint off my ring brightly. i chuckle remembering about me and skylar. a small tear leaks. "maybe i should just give up" i murmur.

"cat. stay here?" i asked. "i um ill be right back. just need some alone time for a couple of minutes" i put her down and run past the guy. "excuse me" i say passing him. my voice kind of trembling. after passing him up by far. i look around and then turn to an ally way. i was breathing hard now. i lean back against a wall and slid to the ground. i stare at my ring "ah. i forgot to say merry christmas. wherever you are" i whisper. i slowly stood up wiping my tears. i got out of the ally walking back to cat singing 'merry christmas darling' softly and quietly , eyes and nose still red from crying
