I sighed. "I wanted to warn my brother and, well, fake mom that I was alive. But who knew what that would do to their lives. So I decided to just leave them to go one believing what they think happened. And it really is weird.... how when your dead how people start listening. My brother starte dto stick up for himself. My mom, she started to tend to her garden and payed more attention to Victor's grades."
