    Aurora's Bunk Empty Aurora's Bunk

Post by YooMimi 8/3/2009, 9:53 pm

With a weary but hopeful face, I stepped into the cabin. "Hm...no one here"
Looking around the room, I notice it is very bright and plentiful so I make my way to a bunk near the window with my backpack and my guitar in my hand.
As I put down my belongings and claim my bunk, I smile, kneel and close my eyes. After making a silent prayer to the gods, I lay down on the bed and take a nap, my body still, knowing that now I'm safe and at home...but my heart at war grieving for the loss of my little sister.

I wake up next day to the sound of birds chittering and the sun beaming in my face.
I slowly make my way down the bunk with my guitar case.
Everyone around me...(I guess I can call them my half siblings...?) are still sleeping.
No matter how peaceful it may seem, my sister's absence still strikes my happiness down.
The truth is I couldn't get a good night's sleep last night, what....thinking about my sister and all.
"I hope the Hunters are treating her well..." I mutter, cursing Artemis under my breath.
Lifting my head, I make my way to the door, twisting the knob.
I step out to the bed of grass, breathing in the fresh and cold dawn air.
The sunlight glints from the dew, and I head for the lake.

Even from a distance, the cabin was shining like the sun.
Sheilding my eyes from the glare of the cabin, I reached for the doorknob.
I walked into the cabin, kind of giddy after the experience with the naiads, and put down my guitar on the bunk.
I checked to see if anyone else was still sleeping. "I guess not"
I left my cabin, and walked outside.
