Shooter Pine Courage has lost enough already. Her mother passed at her birth 15 years ago. Now her country, her friends, her father, and herself are under attack. The advancing enemy is capturing people and holding them againt there will for ransom. Shooter's friend Krissy Flinner has been kidnapped and may not survive. In a dream Shooters dead mother tells her to protect Krissy with everything including her life. When the near end comes is she willing to give it?
