Meeting Chiron

All of a sudden a purple glow appeared over my head. I try to look up,but can't see what it is."What the!What is it!" I shriek.

Chiron nodded to Abbie, glancing at the hologram briefly. "Yes, you've been claimed by Hecate, Abbie. And yes, Leo, you're a demigod. Most people who come to this camp are half-god children."

"Yes, Leo. A son of Boreas and your mother, a mortal woman." Chiron nodded to Leo. "Do you want to go talk to your mother?"

"Maybe later, yes. That's the phrase. Would you like a map of camp or somebody to show you around?"

"A map, okay." Chiron pulled open a drawer and took out a folded-up map of CHB, holding it out to Leo. "You'll work off a lot of weight here, Leo. No need to worry."

"Yes, it is.... But it's been expanded over the years, to add on many new things." Chiron shrugged nonchalantly.

"If you wish; do you have any other questions about camp?"

"Yes, of course. You'll need to let me know, however, so I can remember a date to expect you back on."

"Well, for example, you'll learn how to sword-fight and use a bow and arrows. You'll learn how to read Greek sufficiently, and you'll learn to survive in general." Chiron shrugged; it was sort of a self-explanatory thing.

"Well... I'm part horse, part Titan. So maybe yes, since horses can die." Chiron shrugged; he didn't know what to consider himself anymore.

"Yes, I'm in wheelchair form right now, so you can't see. But you might some day, if you walk into my office randomly."

"No, you're doing just fine. You could be a lot worse, you know." Chiron shrugged, picking up his pen again.

" Cool. Well, I'm gunna go explore. Want to come?" I ask Leo.
