"Sounds good to me!" He beamed as he finished the last scraps of his beautiful and well-needed meal, before heading to the freezer for the ice cream. "Is now good?" He grins.

Dez ceased his nomming, and walked over to Skylar when she was finished, and put his arms around her waist, smiling at her.

Skylar turned around in his arms to face him. "I really thought I lost you." She put her hand on his cheek and just looked into his eyes. Their reunion was still new so all this was to be expected.

"Hey, hey, hey," Dez spoke quietly to her, putting his head next to hers and whispering directly into her ear. "I'm here now, and I'm never going again. That's a promise."

Skylar still crying choked back her tears. "You promised." She whispered back she tightened her grip slightly tugging on his shirt "I love you." Skylar said with a few more silent tears running down her face. "Thank you for coming back to me Dez."

Dez hooked his index finger, and put it under Skylar's chin, gently pushing it up to the point where Dez could look into his girl's eyes again. Slowly, he arched his face closer, and his lips moved forward to make contact with hers for a few seconds. It lasted just long enough to make Skylar forget about the troubles they faced, and to point her in a much more positive direction. Their future, together.

The kiss was brief but it felt like forever to Skylar. She wore a delicate smile of pure bliss on her rose petal pink lips. "That sounds lovely where to?" Skylaar was literally so wrapped up in Dez she forgot about everyone else.

"How about a walk through the woods?"Skylar asked as she realized they weren't alone and wanted some privacy. "Salem hold down the fort, and Catos please get some rest. I'll heal you now before we go." She left the safe shelter of her loves arms and walked over to her brother. "This won't take long." Before she started healing him Skylar looked over to Dorian and Astrid "If you need us Salem can find me and bring us back." She felt rude for leaving but she wanted time alone with just Dez.
