Talking to Chiron

"Banter, banter, banter. From too many people nowadays. Blazer, what do you need?" Chiron was on the verge of kicking him out too.

"No." Chiron frowned at him. "If you think of fighting a sea monster, Blazer, with your lightning, you'd better be prepared to have naiads come after you. They dislike having their pets killed."

I chuckled friendly...or not as I walked to newbie. "Hold on Chiron." I looked at Blazer. "So, a newbie makes a threat, how interesting. But here is what I think...I think you got no guts to do it. It's just an empty threat. Like Chiron over there said..everyone makes threats nowdays. And do you think you are strong enough to go through with your threat?" I spat at his feet. "I don't think so."

"You aren't either," Chiron pointed out to Marcus. "You barely hold your own in many of your fights."

"You know what? I think I am on a verge of being hit by my mother, so I am going to be the big guy and walk away." I looked back again as I walked. "Beter watch your back little dude." I laughed as I made my way toward Deadly Forest.

Chiron rolled his eyes. "There are no bad ones anymore, Blazer. As soon as a new one is born or appears in the lake and beach, a few naiads and campers tame it....." He shook his head. "Marcus. What an idiot.... He can barely hold his own against anybody."

J-I nod and leave.
T-I leave to.

I walk in Alittle lost and confused. "Uhh Hello? Other kids said to come here.." I look at the man that is half horse. I back up Alittle. "Is this some big joke?" I said harshly, tired of kids picking on me.

Chiron frowned at Bea, looking at her from the top of his glasses. "No, it's not a joke. I'm half horse."

I closed my eyes tightly. "I'm dreaming.." I mumbled softly. I pursed my lips and hit my head withthe palm of my hand a few times muttering "Wake up, wake up."

Chiron frowned at Bea, then shook his head. "No use. You're not dreaming."

I widened my eyes in disbelief. "It.. It can't be. This-this is fairy tale stuff!" I took a step forward, because somehow I knew the horse-man wouldn't hurt me.

"Not a fairy tale. It's mythical stuff." Chiron looked at her carefully. "How did you get here?"

O-I walk in knowing the coke dude didnt know what he was talking about. "Excuse moi for my intteruption but where is the Hipnoes cabin?"I ask misspronouncing lots of things.

Chiron frowned at the girl who'd just walked in. "Cabin 25. See the ring of cabins over there, out the right-hand window? Look for the one that has the number 25 on it."

O-I nod."Merce."I say walking out.

"I-I don't know. I kinda woke up when this kid shook me awake.. He thought I was dead." I shuddered slightly. "All I remember is beig REALLY scared.. Then I hit my head HARD."

Chiron looked at Bea funny. "Do you know who your godly parent is?"

"Supposedly Athena.. But it can't be real.." I shook my head. I relaxed slightly beginning to trust the man.

"It is," Chiron told her gently. "I'm a centaur. I'm half-horse. Being the child of a goddess is no stretch."

"My dad.. He said this stuff wasn't real.. So- um, am I Greek or something?" I say confused again. I was raised with no religion so this was all new to me. "Oh uh, I forgot.. I'm Bea Dacee."
