On tiptoes, she walked over to the window, opened it, and sat on the window ledge, her legs outside.
Her pale violet pyjamas shivered as a gust of fresh wind came over her.
And then it began.
First, a clear pale lane appeared at the horizon. The clouds started turning violet, orange, yellow and rosy.
Salut, maman! she thought.
It lasted two hours, until 6 o'clock in the morning, then the sun fully rose.
Dawn was over.
Laure got off the window ledge, took some fresh new clothes and walked over to Women's Baths, washed herself, then put on a cream-colored pair of slim jeans, a pale orange top and her raspberry-colored chucks.
She put a clear line of cherry eyeliner over her blue eyes, she augmented the length of her eyelashes with some mascara and finally a bit of nude-colored gloss on her slim lips.
Laure smiled at the mirror and left the Baths.
She carried her pyjamas back to her cabin, looked at her comrades, who were just starting to get up, and left the cabin, heading for the Mess Hall.
