The Mess Hall

Ana growled. Grabbing a beer bottle from the table behind her she smashed it on the table and began to go after Gerran with it.

Gerran coughed and spluttered, standing up weakly. He looked up in time to see Ana cominga at him with a bottle. Irrationally, he thought Oh gods the germs on that thing... then he looked at Kate to make sure she was ok. As long as she was ok.

Ana got closer and kneeled down to Gerran. She kissed him softly and stabbed him in his right shoulder. "I think you may need to eat sandwiches through A straw for quite a while now, eh? That mouth is pretty bloody and broken. Yum."

Gerran looked at her, horrified. "Piss off," he spluttered, spitting a little blood. His shoulder hurt immensely. He kicked at Ana. As long as she's ok... as long as Kate is ok...

"Now for the girl. Kate." Ana cackled loudly. She walked towards Kate with another piece of bottle glass. "Ready?"

Gerran could feel his heart beat as he forced himself to stand. "Leave her... Just leave... Go," he said, coughing blood. He unsheathed his sword. Forget the germs... Forget the blood... Forget everything but protecting her.

GErran knew she was right. He knew she was. But he was determined. He slashed for Ana's shoulder.

Ana dodged but was still grazed. Some blood trickled. "I won't stop. Just because you're girlfriend here has a sword doesn't mean I'm scared. She's a pu**y. Like you lying over there." Ana walked a bit closer.

Even more angered, Gerran roared and slashed for Ana again an d again. "SHUT UP! SHUT UP!"

"Me, b***h. Even, your boyfriend over there can see it. Why don't you two kiss so we can just get out?" Ana grinned.

There was a thump noise and Achaylia screamed, "MOTHER OF ZEUS! GERRAN!"

Achaylia rushed over to her best friend. She glared at Ana. I'll be reporting you to my dad and Chiron," she said.

Gerran lay unconscious on the ground, covered in blood and barely breathing steady.

"Listen. Tell him you love him. Kiss him. I'll bring him to the infirmary. Yeah? You're too petite to kill."

And then Chiron wheeled in, slightly red in the face from anger. He'd heard something like a crash from the mess hall, which was never a good sign -- the only things there were that could make that large of a sound was the tables and the food-lines. "And what," he thundered, "was going on here?"

Ana wasn't afraid. "These two as****es won't tell each other they love the other. So it began a fight."

Achaylia was too scared to attempt CPR on Gerran. He was dripping in a puddle of his own blood. She looked up at Chiron. "Gerran was trying to protect Kate."

Chiron scowled at Ana, then glared at the broken chairs and tables. As soon as he'd glanced at them, by the blessing of Hecate, the tables and chairs repaired themselves. "So," he began slowly, "you're all going to get stable-duty, and perhaps even your godly parents might get involved? They can, if they wish, temporarily stop any powers you have. I want all of you in my office, now. Go."
