Anita cringed herself and tried to go back sleeping, kneading her jacket under her head so it could serve as pillow. She knew that wouldn't work, but she was feeling so bored that to lay and daydream was enough to escape from that purgatory. It would be nice if she could start a conversation, just to break the numb.

Zayden gave in and adjusted his guitar in his arms so he could play again. Very lightly, he played 1, 2, 3, 4 by Plain White T's, also humming along to his music. Today didn't seem like the day for bursting out into song, as he felt like just being background music to the natural beauty of the meadow.
