I say, "Well for starters, this guy was crazy. And he was taming monsters and SENDING them out of the forest to kill us all. And I honestly was distracting the guy so a friend could escape. But she stayed behind to help me. Then when I was busy killing one of the damn hellhounds, this guy slashed he in the stomach with his damn scythe!"

I realized that the excruciating pain of being torn apart was over, and I was where I had promised Alucard he would be. I could only wait in line, regret hammering in what was left of me. Why had I been so arrogant after becoming an Assassin? Why hadn't I learned my lesson? These questions hammered at me, but I waited to be judged, whatever came to me. I wouldn't make up a lie. I would just be honest about everything.
