Practicing alone {OPEN}

I shrugged, "My dad's a Lieutenant General in the army and I want to follow in his footsteps, perhaps even passing him." I stretched out, making the wound on my stomach open up again. "I'll just take some bandages. I don't like the magic healing, makes me feel like I am cheating at life."

I nodded and passed him some iodine."Besides,the scars is what makes a fighter.Someone I used to know used to say"I mumbled

"I just figured that I better get used to the pain for when I decide to enlist. Can't use nectar or ambrosia in the army." I said pouring some Iodine on the cut. "Could you pass me the bandages?"

I quickly grabbed some from my bag and handed them to him."Wise thinking"I agreed and nodded.

I take the bandages and start wrapping them around my stomach "Why were you alone out here? Don't you have any friends to train with?"

"None.It's better that way.I can't stand people"I growled and looked away

"Guess we have a somewhat similar mindset," I nodded, "But the best way to improve is to fight against others."

"I know.I stole a potion from a Trivia dude.I use it from times to times to bring training dummies to life"I shrugged

"That's actually pretty cool," I admit, "But it doesn't give you the full experience of fighting a living human being." For emphasis I lift my sword, which still has her blood on it. "It's not a good practice until someone is bleeding."

I smirked and pointed at his bandaged abdomen."I'll have to agree with you"

"I usually let my opponent get a cut on me, to make them feel like they accomplished something." I grinned at her.

"Don't try to cover the fact you are too slow for me"I laughed

"That is bulls**t." I laughed, "As I just said, I let you get me. I was being nice, you know. To make you feel good."

I rolled my eyes at him."Yeah right.Then I let you graze my leg too"

"Again, bulls**t. You dodged most of the moves pretty well but I knew there was no way you could dodge that one." I found it strange how not that long ago we wanted to kill each other but now we were talking as if we were friends. At least I thought this girl was becoming my friend.

"The same way I knew you couldn't dodge that"I replied with a wink

"You were falling! That was desperate shot that I let you get." I laughed then winced. I guess she got me deeper than I thought because that kind of hurt.

I smirked."Did that hurt?I thought you just let me touch you"I teased

"I said I let you get a cut on me," I cough in the back of my hand. I pulled it away and it was red with my blood. "Well that can't be good." I said quietly, then louder, "I think it was a little deeper than I thought." I coughed and more blood showed up.

I stared at the cut confused.The bandages were soaked with blood.I grabbed some nectar from my back and turned to look at him."Lie back,I'll take care of that"

I started to fell light-headed, "Whatever you say." I laid back and coughed again. More blood came up, choking me. I tilted my head to the side and spit the blood out. What's going to happen to me?

I carefully unwrapped the bandage and cleaned the wound with my shirt.I opened my bottle of nectar and poured some on the wound.I took some clean bandages and pressed on the wound to stop the bleeding as I passed him the bottle with one hand."Can you drink without sitting up?"I asked,my eyes focused on the wound.

I cough up some more blood, spit it out, and take the bottle from her.

"I think I can," I take a small drink and almost choke on it. I manage to force it down my throat. "Ugh, this is probably the only time I will take nectar for a wound. Don't tell anybody."

"Promise"I murmured and looked in my bag in despair.There were no more bandages.I looked back at the wound and ripped the hem of my shirt.Still pressing the last bandages on the wound,I tied the line of fabric around him so it would hold the bandages tight and pressed down."That's the best I can do for now.Any more nectar will kill you.Are you heavy?"I asked quickly and packed my bag,seathing my sword and strapping my shield on my back before sliding the backpack on my shoulders

"I weigh about 180, why?" As soon as I asked it I realized why. "You don't have to do that, I can walk." I rolled over to my stomach, wincing when I fell on the wound. I struggled to one knee, then to my feet. I stumbled and fell onto the tree. "Might need some help though."
