Kentucky and Grandparents.

I pulled out American Idiot by Green Day. I put it in and started playing. "So? How do you like it?"

I grinned widely and turned to look at her for a moment."Green Day are awesome!"I exclaimed and ruffled her hair

I grinned and smoothed down my hair. "See? I'm not all bad!" We sat listening for a while, then we got close to the exit. "Turn here, then turn left on Freedom Way." I pointed to the left.

I shrugged and took the turn, following the instructuons she'd given me."So, hw's the zoo, princess?"

I smiled. "Its a lot of fun. You'll just have to see when we get there." I emptied my pockets. They only had a couple of denarii and some pocket lint. "Got any mortal money to get in?"

I pouted and sighed, rolling mt eyes at the question that followed."Of course, little sister. Your grandparents felt the need to pay for this"I explained

I shook my head. "Of course they would. If I asked right now, they would buy me a Ferrari." I shrugged and looked ahead. "Turn right here, the zoo is a straight shot." I bit my lip so I wouldn't scream in excitement.

I smiled at her as I parked the car near the zoo's entrance. "Well, you are definitely worth it, princess"I said and kissed the top of her head before exiting the car

Andrew parked and I got out of the car, slamming the door forcefully. "Ready?" I laced my fingers in between his and walked towards the park entrance.

"Don't you slam the door in my face, young lady!"I mockingly glared at her as shr lef me to the zoo entrance

I smiled. We walked in the entrance and was greeted.with a giant.elephant statue. "Oh god. Hey Andrew.dis you think to bring a camera?" I looked at him expectantly.

I sighed and opened my backpack, handing my professional camera to her."Is that okay?"I asked sarcastically

My eyes widened and I took the camera from him. I grabbed his hand again and pulled him towards the ticket line. "Come on! We want to have as much time as possible." I smiled and yanked his arms as hard as I could.

"I'm coming, I'm coming! No need to pull my arm off, you know!" I smiled amused with her enthusiasm . Thankfully the line wasn't long and we got our tickets quickly, along with a map. "So, where first, princess?"

I bounced up and down as I grabbed the map out of his hand. I put the camera around my neck. I looked around and pointed towards the safari area. "ELEPHANTS." I ran over to the sign and pointed up at it.

I rolled my eyes and ran a hand through my hair as I walked towwards her."Calm down, princess. Don't run, I might lose you!"

I rolled my eyes and pursed my lips. "Okay okay." I held his hand as we walked towards the elephant enclosure.

I laughed and ruffled her hair as she pulled me towards tr elephants."Why do you like elephants so much? It's not like you don't see one every day!"I asked confused and raised an eyebrow

I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, but the elephant, at um, home doesn't really like me much." I looked at Andrew with a look of 'Stop talking!' We stood and looked at the elephants for a bit but I got bored quickly. "Okay, Annie your turn to pick." I grinned at him.

"Hey!"I exclaimed and pouted."Now I get why Hannibal dislikes you!"

I stuck my tongue out at him playfully. "Well, I call him Hannah, so that might be a contributing factor." I grabbed onto Andrew's hand. "So, where to?"

I chuckled at that."Seems like it's not only me then! How abiut we go see your relatives, the monkeys?!"I teased her plaufylly and poked her sides

I squirmed when he poked me. "Hey, they're your relatives too!" I giggled as we walked over to the monkeys. I looked at them. "That one's you, and that ones me!" I pointed to one sleeping, then to one running in circles.

"'Cause you're just crazy like that?"I asked sarcastically and grinned."You do have the same eyes though!"

I gave him a smug look. "Exactly." I rolled my eyes. "Thanks I guess?" I looked around for a moment then stood in silence.
