Nathan entered the arena with his Stygian iron breastplate on, his Stygian iron dagger in it's sheathe. He paced around the room as he asked people if they wanted to be his sparring partner. "Do you wanna be my sparring partner?" he asked everyone who was alone. No one said yes. Typical. he thought. He decided to just spar with a training dummy, while Iggy climbed up onto the head of another. He unsheathed his dagger and began to slice at the dummy.

Re: Ooh, Swords. How Nice.
Ari dismounted Mukta and tied her to a nearby tree. She technically wasn't supposed to ride her around here, but she had wanted to save her energy for training.
Ari had only recently turned 15, and was just starting to gain the serious edge she would be known for later on in life. At this point, she was beginning to train everyday. But the young Indian girl enjoyed it most when she had a partner.
Which explained why her gaze was scanning the room as she glided on, judging everyone, taking note of the way they fought, their height, their build, even their breathing.

Nathan continued to hack and slash at his training dummy while Iggy chewed on the head of another. He picked up Iggy and began speaking to him. "Those heads are good, huh?" he asked. He put his arm out and Iggy jumped onto his shoulder as he went to get some water. He spotted Ari from across the room and walked over to her. "Um, hey! What's up?" he asked.

Re: Ooh, Swords. How Nice.
Ari sighed. American slang was such nonsense. "What is up? Up is a direction, the opposite of down. What an odd question to be asking." She answered, looking at him in confusion. He was a bit taller than her, with an obvious athletic build. That posture, though. Ugh. Americans. Of course, he had the looks of one of Indian descent. But as far as Ari knew, she was the only one who was actually from India in this whole camp.
OOC: Here's the form, if you want. http://www.camphalfblood.org/t18725-upahara-yatra-hecate?highlight=Upahara Also, a churidar kurta is a traditional piece of Indian apparel that's actually pretty easy to fight in.
People have been confused before when I've mentioned it.
