Remake for Sebastian Alexander Plight (COMPLETE)

Name: Sebastian Alexander Plight is named as he is because Sebastian is a Roman name meaning venerable. Sebastian’s young mother always believed that she was never respected and never cared about, and she wanted her son to be remembered. As Sebastian grew older he liked the name because he, too, wanted to be remembered, but not necessarily well. Alexander was his grandfathers name. Isabelle decided to keep it as his middle name because Alexander was a great leader like she wanted Sebastian to be. Sebastian sometimes goes by Bash.

Gender: Sebastian is a male, and proud of it. He took being a male very strongly, taking it as he should be tough and brute.

Mortal Parent: Sebastian’s mother is named Isabelle Mason-Plight. Isabelle was a calm and gentle person and was overly protective of her little Sebastian in his early life. Isabelle had Sebastian when she was only 17. She never really meant a whole lot to Sebastian. He cared a lot more about his step-dad Carson Plight. Isabelle Mason-Plight passed away on November 16th, 2005, when Sebastian was 9 years old, from bacterial meningitis. Due to the lack of a findable biological father, Carson had full custody of Sebastian.

God Parent: Sebastian is a son of Thanatos, the God of Death. Sebastian, upon discovering his godly heritage, felt like he could relate very well to his god parent. The dark tendencies that usually show up in children of Thanatos align well with the tendencies of Sebastian. As soon as the truth came out, Sebastian became proud of his god father. Prior to that, bash always resented his father.

Date of Birth: Sebastian was born on Sunday September 22nd, 1996, which was the Fall Equinox that year. He is 17 years old, although he looks a bit younger, and acts a lot older. He doesn’t talk much about how old he is, because it made him seem weaker, because he is younger.

Place of Birth: Sebastian was born in Manhattan.

Hometown: Sebastian lived in Manhattan for his entire life. He loved it there.

Last Residence: Sebastian last lived in Manhattan.

Race/ Ethnicity: Sebastian is Caucasian. He is 50% Greek, 25% Italian, and 25% Native American.

Accent: Sebastian talks like he is from Manhattan, but sometimes the dialect tends to lean towards Queens, since he spent a lot of time there as a child, as it was where Carson was originally from before he moved in with Bash and his mother.

Skin Tone: Sebastian has slightly tan skin naturally, but it doesn’t get a whole lot tanner than that.

Eye Color: Sebastian’s eyes are blue, just like his mother’s.

Hair Color: Sebastian’s hair is a non-extraordinary mid-brown, but it compliments his other features well.

Hair Length: Sebastian’s hair is kind of short and stands straight up on his head.

Height: Sebastian is 5 foot 11 inches.

Weight: Sebastian weighs right around the ideal weight for his height, 140 pounds. It’s on the lower side of the average.

Body Type: Sebastian has a fit build for being on the smaller side.

Appearance: Sebastian doesn’t look like he would be a son of Thanatos. When you look at him without knowing him, he looks sweet and kind and a bit weak. People have a tendency to want o help Bash based on his looks. Sebastian uses his looks to his advantage. Sebastian’s left wrist is often red and swollen, due to his childhood injury. Sebastian’s eyebrows are often perked up, making him look like a generally surprised person, even though not much surprises him. Sebastian usually wears jeans and a plain color shirt. He sees no point in appearance.

Weapon: Sebastian has a 30.5 inch Celestrial Bronze Sword named Saline. He also has a dagger, but it’s not of much use anymore, because it’s not Celestrial Bronze.

Armor: Sebastian has his own personally fit chest plate and helmets, as well as a shield.

Pet(s): Sebastian doesn’t have a pet. He finds them impractical.

Skills/ Talents: Sebastian is very athletic. He is really good at lacrosse, baseball, football, basketball, soccer, and swimming. Sebastian is a quick learner, and he can copy almost anything he sees. Sebastian is also really good at lying.

Flaws: Sebastian has no morals and doesn't care what is "wrong". He does whatever he wants, whenever he wants. He is a compulsive liar, and he is obsessed with his looks. Sebastian also couldn’t make a friend if his life depended on it. When Sebastian was 7 years old, he got hit by a car. This caused him to have a super messed up left wrist, which is his dominant hand. On some days, it hurts bad enough that he has to wear a brace, hindering his fighting ability.

Strengths: Even if he really is jerk, Sebastian is charming and charismatic. He is very convincing. He is also very physically strong, even if he doesn’t look like it. Carson started to teach Sebastian hand-to-hand combat when he was 5 years old and Sebastian became very good at it.

Weaknesses: Sebastian’s true personality is his biggest weakness. He craves power and he wants everyone to know his name. Sebastian refuses to let himself be dominated. Sebastian has to be in charge. Sebastian’s consistent lies don’t allow him the opportunity to make any friends, so he usually feels somewhat lonely.

Likes: Sebastian likes the color red, pizza, soda pop, and sports. Sebastian likes it when people are easily manipulable and overly trusting.

Dislikes: Sebastian doesn’t like people who are smarter than him or have more power than him. He also hates hot dogs.

Fears: Sebastian is afraid of not being remembered, and being completely alone. Sebastian is also majorly claustrophobic. The latter two fears combine into his greatest fear of all: being buried alive.

Personality: Sebastian comes across as a good wholesome, "America's Sweetheart" type of guy, but he is far from it. He is an awful person, and rotten to the core. He is a thief, and a liar, and if you get too close, he'll steal your heart. Sebastian is dedicated and listens really well. If you don’t understand him, he may come across as genuine caring person and a good friend. He didn’t care about anyone, though. He never will care about anyone, either.

Powers: Sebastian doesn’t have a power, although he is really jealous of all the people who do.

Social Status: Sebastian didn’t care at all about his social status back home. A lot of people looked up to him as a leader, but he wasn’t necessarily liked. Everyone knew who he was.

Summer or Year Rounder: Sebastian’s plan is to be a year round camper, because he can.

Years at Camp: Sebastian has been at camp for about 6 months.

Life Before CHB: Sebastian was born and raised in Manhattan, but he did spend a lot of time in Queens. Everyone loved little Sebastian, or sometimes Bash. He was a cute little kid who loved things like painting and music. When Sebastian was just 2 years old, his mom married Carson Plight. Carson Plight was a hardened factory worker from Queens. Carson had never really fell in love, or felt much love. He had a sensitive side, though. He hated that side, but that is the side that initially gave into Isabelle Mason. After marrying Isabelle, he truly liked Sebastian more than Isabelle. Growing up, Sebastian was much closer to Carson than this mom. As he grew up, he let go of his creative tendencies, even though he picked them up sometimes. When Bash's mom died when he was 9, he should have been a lot more upset than he was. His "dark side" was already showing through. After the death of Isabelle, Carson's darker side came out, too. It made a lot of sense from then on why Sebastian was so close to him. Bash only got more and more evil as he got older, but he never lost his good boy looks. He learned to use them to his advantage. In middle school and high school, Sebastian played soccer, football, basketball, and baseball. He loved sports because he didn’t need to be nice to do them. He was extremely competitive. He got a little sick of being the best, though. Sebastian came to camp when he needed something new.  Sebastian got a letter from her mom from before she died that was given to Carson before she died that explained who he was and how to get Sebastian to Camp Half Blood. Carson was instructed to give Bash the letter when he was 17. Bash believed it right away because shortly before his mom passed away she mentioned the letter, saying that Carson had something very important for older Sebastian that gave him information on the real Sebastian, but he brushed it off as delusion. After Carson explained, Bash knew it was the letter from his mother. Isabelle knew because she had always known Sebastian’s true ancestry, and could see through the miss. She'd wanted him to get it when he was 17 because she wanted him to have a semi-normal childhood before going to camp, and he didn't want him to be a really young kid there. Carson took him there shortly after.

Role-Playing Example: As Sebastian’s dreams rolled on, he started to become aware that he was dreaming. That happened to him a lot, to be honest. His dream was actually nothing what his life was like. He was walking with a girl by a lake and they were holding hands. The conscious part of Sebastian scoffed at the idea of him with girlfriend. Girlfriends were impractical when you were only 17 years old, but he couldn’t do anything but watch the scene roll on.  The girl, still unnamed, picked up a flower and handed it to dream Sebastian. He smiled as he took it from her and kissed the tip of her nose. He slid the flower behind her ear and let it stick out past her red hair. There was a picnic basket a few feet from where he was walking with the girl, which, in typical dram form, had appeared out of nowhere. They sat down on the blanket and she leaned her head on to his shoulder. ”I love you, Ryleigh.” With that comment, Sebastian was able to force himself awake. Sebastian Plight woke up in the woods with a bad taste in his mouth. Again. It had been a long time since he had actually slept in his cabin. Sebastian hated his cabin, as, it seemed, did a lot of other campers. The difference between the other campers and him, though, was in why he hated his cabin. The other campers all seemed to hate their cabins because they were misunderstood, or didn’t belong there, or some other little whiny teenage reason. Sebastian knew his cabin was where he belonged and that he definitely was a son of Thanatos, but he just couldn’t stand people. His siblings knew that he wasn’t nice. Where’s the fun in that? Sebastian thrived on tricking people, on convincing them that he was something that he absolutely was not. The dream was still stuck in Bash’s head. It disgusted him that even his subconscious could create such a scenario for himself. Was he becoming soft? Sebastian jumped down from the tree that he had slept in and pulled his dagger out of his pocket. The dagger wasn’t much help here at camp. He had had it since he was 10 years old. It was gift from Carson. Sebastian missed Carson more and more as the time at camp went by. Carson was a lot more than a step-father to Sebastian. As Sebastian thought, he dug his knife into a nearby tree and began to carve. Sebastian started to think about when he came to camp. Right before he crossed the border, Carson said, ”Do you really wanna do this?” Sebastian nodded without thinking, and responded, "I've done all I can do here, Dad. I can do better, elsewhere." Sebastain sighed. It was one of the few times he called him Dad. He knew he hadn’t lived up to that comment since coming to camp. He hid away from people, especially here in these woods. Sebastian looked down. In that moment he decided that he needed to do what Carson would have wanted him to do. He had become weak. He’d known it for a while but he hadn’t actually admitted it himself. He punched the tree in front of him hard. It didn’t hurt him, though. He had too much adrenaline running through his veins at that time. He shoved his dagger in his pocket and walked towards the main part of camp. Sebastian couldn’t do what he needed to do sitting in the woods alone. In the tree behind him, it said, “It’s time to watch the world fall.”

You should detail his appearence some more. Try to describe, not only the first impression that people have of him, but his minor physical features and his clothing style.

He should have more than only one weakness. Try to think of two more, at least.

How did his mom find out about the truth? Could she see through Mist?
