The Nightmare and The Dove

I sat under a tree in the woods. I had my backpack with me filled with food and other things. I took out an apple and started eating it. Hopefully I didn't fall asleep

Bella walked through the woods alone. She pushed her hair out of her face and looked around. She liked these walks. They cleared her head. Suddenly, she tripped and fell into somebody's lap.

I gasped when someone fell on my lap, then blushed when he saw it was a girl. He said, "S-sorry!"

Bella blushed too. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry." she said as she quickly got up. "What a way to meet someone...." she muttered.

I say, "I-It's ok..." He was still blushing. He said, "Wh-who are you?"

"Oh, gosh, right. Bella DeMarco. Daughter of Aphrodite." she said. "And you?"

I say, "I-I'm Derek King... Son of E-Epiales..."

"I'm really sorry. I wasn't paying attention." she said.

I says, "I-It's ok..." His blush began to slowly disappear

"Epiales.... What god or goddess is that?" Bella asked.

I say, "G-God of n-nightmares..."

"I'm sorry if I scared you." she said.

I say, "N-no... just... N-never mind...

"What? What is it?" Bella asked, her curiosity growing.

I say, "N-never mind..." He hides the blush that was growing again

"Alright." she said before sitting down.

I say, "W-want an apple?"

"Sure!" Bella said happily.

I pulled an apple out of my bag and gave it to her, not looking at her as he could not stop blushing

"Thanks." she said softly as she took the apple.

I say, "What a-are you d-doing th-this far I-in the woods?"

"I like to go for walks to clear my head." Bellavreplied.

I say, "O-oh... I c-come here to g-get a-away from m-my problems..."

"Oh, am I intruding, because I can leave." she aid.

I say, "No... Y-you can s-stay..."
