Xtreme Makeovah! (Private)

George was almost scared of the dollhouse that was the Aphrodite cabin. It seemed unnervingly perfect, just like some of its occupants were unnervingly beautiful, almost in a fake way. He forced himself to enter though. He had an actual date and for once in his life he wouldn't screw things. Of course, he hoped that the date wouldn't be this special. They were still kids, right? He was like, almost 15. A toddler.

As he entered the beautiful but almost annoying smell of a fragrance hit him. He almost gasped for air. He gave a look around the cabin. Not one person was there. At least in the brief, shy look he gave. He then spotted a girl, obviously older than him, that could easily pass for a model. He didn't though process her image because he averted his look.

"Um, hi" he muttered. "Could you PLEASE help me on, erm, a d-d-date?" he said, looking at his toes and blushing heavily.

Judgement. One thing George hated. Except now. It would actually come to.use. He was relieved when she accepted to offer him help. He needed it desperately. If he could actually be made to look good, it would be a miracle. Besides, the girl seemed to be an expert.

She told him that he needed a change of haircut, clothes and dating advise. He nodded. He had the same haircut since he was 5 or something.

"I will do anything. You are literally 50% godess of love. You would know better right?" he said with a nervous look, his voice faltering him.

Besides, even if he was afraid of change in many aspects, he came here asking for it. Not to hear he was "fine" to boost his non-existent ego.

The girl was "working" with his hair like a freaking expert. Soon he had a hairstyle thing way different than everything he had seen. Did he look good? Better than before sure. He whistled appreciatively.

"Wow" he said amazed. "And to think there are actually people who underestimate you Aphrodite kids."

He even grinned to her. You never know how she would interpret it. She might thought that he'd called her useless or something. Anyway, the makeover thing seemed to be going surprisingly good. Such a relief.

If the girl was offended by his choice of words, she didn't show. He had the feeling she always masked her feelings like that. Another talent he wished he had. Anyway, there was still a date and the continuation of this makeover.

Then the girl -thst he still hadn't asked for her name- gave him the clothes she suggested for him. He felt a little uncomfortable literally being given these, and not being asked to buy them or something. He set this thought aside and put them on. He gave a look towards the girl, hinting that she asked her opinion.

Every attire was more ridiculously perfect than the other, though the girl approved only at what felt like the millionth, even though it was like the fifth. He liked that one, it seemed less like something a person would wear in a wedding or any formal event than the others. He grinned to her. She devoted her time on this after all. Then she sprayed him with a perfume. That made him feel like the date would be more important than he thought. At least she didn't want to put makeup on him or something.

Then she offered to give him dating advice. He nodded. "Y-yes please." he said, his tone making him sound like he was about to get taught the secret to eternal youth or something equally important.

Cleopatra gave him a side smile. "Make her laugh," she said. "Make her smile. Don't overload her with compliments but don't forget to comment on how beautiful she looks. When you feel the time's right, don't hesitate to take her hand." She passed a hand through her curls and rearranged her comb, looking into a mirror to check her appearance. When she was done, she winked at herself in the mirror, gave a slow smile and turned back to George. "And remember: kissing is about moments, not words."

George nodded at every sentence. If he was an Athena kid, he really hoped he would memorize it. Then she mentioned the kiss part and he freaked out. What kiss? Kisses were for grown ups. For lovers. For couples. He really hadn't realized the importance of the date as it seemed.

"Erm, kiss?" he said, half-puzzled, half scared.

It doesn't have to come during the first date. Thst's cool. Maybe it would on -let's say- the 100th. Yeah, that would be great. Perfect. No rush... but what if the case required rush? Thst was messed up.

Then she asked him if he knew how to kiss. He blinked hard. Is there a special technique? Like, required anything special? As far as he was concerned, it only required chemistry and two pairs of lips.

"What do you mean 'know how'? Like... just contact of the lips. A kiss. Voila." He said, seemingly unnerved.

He made a mental note to do so. Sometime in his life. Not now. Or maybe he needed to now. Or maybe not. Anyway, he gave her the warmest smile he could in his confusion.

"Th-thank you. For everything." he said, looking straight at her to make it clear how sincere he was.
