She was training earlier, which in honesty, isn't her favorite thing to do. She watched as demi-gods left their cabins and to the mess hall. She took her feather from behind her ear and felt the softness. She had gotten it from her father when she left to stay at the camp. She often wondered if he missed her.

Jana Kay strolled out of the plant-covered Demeter cabin and stretched in the sunlight, allowing a yawn to briefly distort her face. She had been texting James all evening after the sing-alongs and had dozed off only at like, 1 am. Her longue blonde hair streaked with strawberry-pink and braided over her ear with apple blossoms, the lanky Scot hopped down the stairs into the courtyard, wearing a vivid orange camp tee, comfortable white shorts and mismatched flip flops, her sword strapped to her side. She casually walked past the gray Athena cabin, the silvery Artemis cabin and came to a stop in front of the sweet-smelling, candy pink Aphrodite pavilion.
"Hi there Ally, what's up?" She called over to a beautiful girl in her mid-teens who was toying with a golden feather.

Allison lifted her head to the sound of her voice. "Oh, Hello Jana Kay. Nothing much. Just people watching. How are you today?" She smiled and let go of the feather. She loved the girl's style. Flowers everywhere. She guessed that's natural for a daughter of Demeter. With a few feathers, she would look even more down to earth. She went through several outfits she could see her in, in her head. Naturally of course. A gift of being the daughter of Aphrodite.

"I'm groovy," she grinned, walking over to her and leaning against one of the pink pillars supporting the porch of the Aphrodite cabin. Her nose filled with a blend of pricey perfumes but five years at Camp Half-Blood had toughened her up against that kind of stuff and she didn't choke. "Ready for Capture-The-Flag tonight? Miranda told me we guys were on the same team."

Allison smiled and her eyes lit up. "Really?" Capture-The-Flag is one of her favorite games and to play it with Jana Kay on her side would be a help. Tonight they were going to win. "Are you excited?" She asked Jana Kay.

"Heck yeah I am!" Jana Kay beamed, clapping her hands. "Though we're against Apollo and Nike so that'll be tough, but we got the Athena guys on our side -- it could go either way. I'm just impatient to get out there!!" The daughter of Demeter plopped down on the stairs next to Allison, a few of the decorative red roses leaning towards her. "Wanna do something before it starts? I have two hours free, running with the nymphs got cancelled."

Allison smiled. "Sure, all I have is time lately." She shrugged. She was a little nervous about the game, going against Apollo and Nike. She was sure that with the Athena cabin on their side, they could win. She should probably train a little with her daggers but wanted to have fun with Jana Kay. 'So, what should we do?" She asked, her mind running a couple hundred times a minutes to really focus on one thing.

Jana Kay's hyperactive self was already giving the red roses tartan patterns and she chewed on the inside of her mouth, drumming her finger against her leg. "How about we go to the stables? We could take horses out for a ride on the beach, whatcha say?"
