Snow Day!

Lachlan stood at the top of the mountain with the nose of his board barley over the edge and he felt that surge of adrenaline before a run. He had been practicing for weeks now and was finally starting his first few runs to warm up before the superpipe. Pushing forward slightly he zipped down the mountainside and he smiled beneath his mask. The sixteen year old was one of the only people out of his friend group that would rather spend weekends at the mountain rather than eyeing girls or hanging with anyone else in Colorado. It was odd for a teenager from his backstory but he didn’t care in the slightest. He was a natural born snowboarder and he loved racing his friends. As he raced down the mountain he found a fellow boarder and lifted some snow on them as a challenge before heading back down the steep mountain. Taking a jump very well the son of Apollo landed it while doing a very nice front side grab and zipping down to the base of the mountain. Sliding to a halt Lachlan smiled and waited to be met by the other border.

"Thanks." He said with a Scottish accent. He may have been living in the states a while but he tried his best to retain his accent. Lachlan unbuckled his board from boots and stepped out, holding the board under his arm. Pulling his goggles off and mask he revealed his young skin and gave a dimpled smile."I don't think I've seen you around here before. Are you new to these slopes?"

"It's a great slope aint it?" He asked with a smile as he started walking towards the lodge with his board under his arm and helmet under the other to show his messy hair."Yeah that's me. Straight outta Scotland itself as my siblings would say, particularly Demetrius. What cabin are you from?" He asked politely. the younger camper took note of her crooked nose and made a mental note to himself. He was one of those people who wanted to know every single feature of a persons face, it was kind of a hobby of his in its own way. Later on he would probably tell one of his siblings about it and have them draw a picture when they needed practice.
