Hair: curly, dark brown hair. not short, but not super long either.
Height: about 6 foot and 1 inch
Body Type: tall and muscular. he isn't very heavily built, but he does have very noticeable muscles. he is fit and athletic with strong arms, good for lifting heavy things.
Skin Color: white with a deep tan from the sun
God Parent: Ares, god of war
Mortal Parent: Selena Lorrel. She is a strong woman who fought in the army. unfortunately she died 2 years after August's arrival at Camp Half Blood so he is a year rounder.

Talents: he is very strong and good with hand to hand combat and with a sword. he is also surprisingly good with the piano but he hides that talent from everyone because he thinks its a "sissy hobby"
Weapon**: a heavy celestial bronze sword
Personality: August is a stern boy with a hard outer shell. he keeps quiet and always looks mean and unapproachable. He is rude and what most people will call a bully. He picks on new and old campers when he is bored. When it comes to battle, he is violent and isn't scared of getting his hands dirty. he is brave and will be the first person to volunteer in a fight. he hates loosing maybe a little too much and will get really upset when it happens. The only people that he is a little nice too are his brothers and sisters. Those are the only people he actually cares about besides his mother. If August is sad, he wont show it. Instead he will be even meaner to everyone. He is sarcastic and has a big attitude. He isn't easy to get to know either because he doesn't like sharing things with other people. He is diagnosed with ADHD but no dyslexia. He has a little more trouble reading Greek then the other campers. He never gives up when it comes to fighting and will always get back on his feet.
Flaws: He is very rude, violent and unforgiving. he acts before he thinks, which could get him killed someday. he is impatient and has a very short temper.

Life Before Camp*: He lived in Washington State with his single mom, Selena. His mom fought in the army so they moved a whole lot. August was labeled as the bully in every school he went to. He didn't purposely try to be mean, it just came naturally. They didn't have a lot on money and usually lived in small, cramped rental houses. When he was 11 him and his mom moved to New York. August was confident and had a lot of bravery so when he got attacked by a Griffin he wasn't very scared. his mom was defending both of them with a gun that held a couple celestial bronze bullets that she had been saving while August ran in the directions that his mom had given him. Selena knew that August was a half blood, but she didn't know who his dad was. She had met Chiron and he had explained to her what August was. he told her that he could sense that he was a half blood and when the time was right, she needed to send him to camp. August made it to camp alive with few injuries. He didn't know if his mom was safe until a month after his arrival at camp, and she managed to stay alive. About 2 years later, when he was 13 he found out that his mom had died in battle.
RP Example*: August stared at the letter in his hands. he couldn't believe it. his mother, a strong and brave woman, had actually died. He felt his eyes grow hot and knew what came after that. tears. he hit the inside of his cheek and held them back. no, he couldn't cry. his mother wouldn't want him to mourn or be sad over her. He folded the letter back up and stuffed it inside his pillow case, where he kept all of his important possessions.
Any notes about your characters: he hates a lot of people, but if he does find someone that he likes he will stick close to them. even though he might not say that he likes the person
