It took Lakisha some time to catch her breath, but fortunately Aiden had managed to distract the Cyclops long enough for her to find a good spot in one corner, notching one arrow. At the corner of her vision she saw the other girl, who she thought had died, crawling away to a safe zone. Oh, good. One more person on their team. Lakisha let the arrow fly and hopped her way across the crack-webbed ground, trying to find a clean shot from which to fire at the Cyclops' eye.

Valerie regrettably collapsed into unconsciousness just a few inches shy of her weapon. The faint rise and fall of her back the only indication that she still lived.

Re: Monsters Disguises Suck
Aiden heard a thump from behind him, and he noticed Valerie crumpling to the floor unconscious. Just in time when the fire hose ran out of foam and he leapt toward Valerie, as the Cyclops flail his hand at him, which almost hit him. Aiden knelt next to Valerie, and grabbed her bow, then put it on his back along with the collected quiver, and he pulled the girl out to the door. He laid here by the door, with the bow on her lap and the quiver by her side. Then he returned to help Lakisha.
Pius ran at Lakisha, smashing his hand on the counter, which rippled. The Cyclops attempted to climb over the counter, when an arm was thrown around him and slowed his progress. Aiden reached for the eye and pulled it open wide with all of the force he could focus, and maneuvered the Cyclops out into an opening, where Lakisha could get a shot at him.
And he knew that if she did get a shot at him, then the Cyclops would fall backwards and drag Aiden along with him down to the fissures which would fall directly down the sewers. He could die. But maybe he deserved it. He had almost killed the two of them because he tried to be the hero. Now he was attempting it again, but in a sacrifcial way.
