Wade was at the fields of his grandfather's, dressed in full body armor and ready for combat. He had eaten a large meal of steak and pork sandwiches back at the mess hall- he was hungry from an intense workout earlier- and wanted to practice with some of his fellow Romans or not Romans. Wade got a sword, and looked around at some of the other campers. Putting a smile on his face, a competitive face, he asked "anyone up for some sparring?"

Laure raised her sword. "Only if you think you can take me on," she said, a light cheekiness in her voice. Smiling slowly at the son of Cupid, the girl got into fighting stance. She was dressed in the usual Camp Jupiter sparring gear: purple shirt, camouflage trousers and crampon boots. Her shimmering blonde hair was braided down her back and for once, she wasn't wearing any make-up. She never did for training and formation marching.

Wade looked at the girl that said she'd spar- Laure. He smirked, remembering the time she tried to flirt with him when he was dating Tiberia (ooc: I think I remember us planning Laure doing that). He was a bit taken aback, though- he didn't think of her as the one to challenge him. And she wasn't wearing any make up either, the first time he saw her without any. He nodded. "OKay, I accept, then, if you're up for the challenge. Are powers allowed?"

The French girl shrugged. "I don't have any powers. If you want to use yours, go ahead," she said, readying her gladius.

Wade readied his sword. "Then I won't use my powers. You take the first shot."

Laure aimed a series of quick stabs at him - chest, shoulder, leg, stomach. Evaluate his reflexes, look at the way he blocked.

Wade dodged all but the leg, and got slightly scraped. He whipped his sword at her legs, as well, then at her upper body.

Laure hopped over the blade and deflected it when it cane at her upper body. "Nice," she said with another slow smirk, before hacking downwards with her gladius.

Wade barely dodged, and tried to backhand the sword into her waist.

The sword hit her armour, making her screw her face up in pain. Let's hope she wouldn't get an ugly bruise there! That would mess her bikini body up. Laure didn't waste time though and hit his blade down with her own before shoving her elbow at his face/throat area.

Wade was incredibly impressed with her strength against his own, and realized maybe he doubted Laure's strength and was focusing on injuring her speed. He let out an ugly cough with the elbow to the neck, and he decided to focus on taking out her strength instead. He swung his sword at her left arm and tried to sweep her feet off of the ground, trying to quickly regain his breathing pattern.

Laure drew back, his sword drawing some blood from her arm. She glared at the wound, then back at him, before rushing back into the fight with bared teeth and doubled techniques.
